PokerStars - 50/100 Ante 12 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: 19,952
MP+1: 18,602
MP+2: 21,208
CO: 21,322
BTN: 19,502
SB: 19,752
Hero (BB): 19,952
UTG: 19,770
UTG+1: 19,952

9 players post ante of 12, SB posts SB 50, Hero posts BB 100

Pre Flop: (pot: 258) Hero has Q♥:9♥:

UTG raises to 200, fold, fold, fold, fold, CO calls 200, fold, fold, Hero calls 100
1BB I can play this, but it needs substantial help

Flop: (758, 3 players) Q♠:Q♣:8♣:
Hero checks, UTG bets 500, CO calls 500, Hero raises to 1,674, fold, CO calls 1,174
Top trips counts as 'substantial help' I wanted to isolate, perhaps take it down right here. When I get the call, I figure another :Qx: perhaps a straight draw also

Turn: (4,606, 2 players) J♥:
Hero bets 1,612, CO calls 1,612 <== should I have checked this? I still think I'm ahead, and want calls from worse.
Should I have folded to a shove here?

River: (7,830, 2 players) 9♠:
Hero bets 2,741, CO calls 2,741
Full house now, but not the best one.

Hero shows Q♥:9♥: (Full House, Queens full of Nines)
(Pre 32%, Flop 23%, Turn 23%)
CO mucks Q♦:T♠: (Straight, Queen High)
(Pre 68%, Flop 77%, Turn 77%)
Hero wins 13,312

Preflop is standard. Flop I would likely just x-c because raising with such deep stacks can bring lot of nasty situations. You also want to have some Qx in your calling range. CO will mainly have 88, Qx and flush draws after calling.

As played definitely bet turn and I would size it bit bigger. In river also could go bit bigger. It's quite tricky spot if villain raise river even though we have second nuts.

Calling flop is most likely better, but if I would raise multi way around 2k in to 2 players.
Turn I would Cbet around half pot and on the river as well with the full house.

I was actually a bit worried a was facing a better kicker when he called the flop -- and I was.

I do think I could have bet the river larger though -- especially if he had the better kicker.
I didn't realize until I posted this that he had actually made a straight
