shoving overpair on the river vs UTG bluff catch line ?

It might help if we knew what your reason was for flatting pre.
That allows a lot of other players in, any of whom can out flop your Queens. I'm thinking things like Ace-Rag limpers who flop two pair and get sticky with them.

If I'm going to raise anywhere in this hand, it would be on the flop. Second favourite place to raise would be the turn.

OTR what worse will call?
Jacks maybe -- A9 maybe but A9 isn't really a UTG raise (or is it? I really don't know)

But there are no straights possible (unless UTG plays like that w/ T8), and no flushes.
So

Call pre is ok to mix MP vs UTG, especially if e looks tight.
Flop is interesting. That flop is relatively bad for his range so a big from him is expectable. He wants to be polarized towards big pairs or air.

Turn is a blank. Call again is fine. Remember it's a 4-way pot and everyone called the flop, so his turn cbet is going to be even more polarized. Once he did bet quite small he's probably not aware of this.

River could be a check back taking this into account. His check is to induce imo. If he had air he should shove OTR for sure. He has 0 showdown value.
A9s, TT, JJ are the hands he may check/call with. I think it's thin. What would make me check this back sometimes is the fact of being 4-way.

Note: when you have QQ and the runout is favorable (this one for example), it's rarely wrong to call down.

I thought AA KK JJ would just ship the river im calling anyway with the missed draw , but my thinking was draws that paired the J will call maybe a hand like TT can bluff catch and A9s possibly AJ could barelled to get me off a draw/weaker pair so they call but ye i wasn't to sure with my ship.No great reason for flatting pre apart from the 17vpip over 30 ish hands it's just one of those times i chose to flat in mp.

So did UTG call or fold?

I think when villain bets into 3 people on flop his range looks like over-pair or sets, river puts JJ ahead of us his check could be a trap , are we beating 50% of his range to justify a value bet? I prefer check back, people tend to play more honestly in multi-way pots and the flop bet into 3 people OOP seems strong.
