Should I fire the 3rd barrel?

Hand from Ignition 5NL, 6max

This opponent had been opening a little wide so I decided to 3-bet preflop as a bluff since I feel 65s may be a little too weak to call.
Anyways as played I decided to barrel the flop and turn.
Can likely get the opponent to fold overcards on the flop, and thought the Q was a decent card to continue on. All pairs less then a Ten I would expect to fold and sometimes maybe even a weak Ten might find a fold.
Anyways, the river card is an interesting one, it completes the 98 straight draw and improved JT to two pair but I would expect a hand like KT or AT to find a fold here if I fire the 3rd barrel. The only thing deterring me was that an all in was around a half pot bet size on the river, do you think the villain would fold these hands to a 3rd barrel?

Clear triple barrel if you ask me.
AQ, AK, , ATs, AJ, JJ+ All those hands are in your range and beat him.

And even some of your bluffs like 89, 9T, JTs beat him.

Sure, he might have AQ, but even that is a hard call.
JJ, QQ and AK might be in his calling range here and not give up. But if he shoves AK pre there are not many combo's in his range (mostly set mining) that he should call a river bet with.

He should have folded the turn in this spot everytime if you ask me. And if I was him, I would have folded on the flop if your 3bet stat is not trough the roof.

Yes, the moment you decided to bet the turn is also the time that you decide that you will push all-in on the river or else you just wasted your bet on the turn. That is the only way for you to win and you have to option to do it plus you are telling the story that you have a premium hand that can play for all the stack.

He can still fold $2.55. It is still 50bb.

Yeah, in the moment I think I just chickened out thinking the J was a good card for his range but really it wasn't that bad of a card.

Unless villain thinks he has the implied odds on the river to call with his OESD. πŸ™ˆ

It's hard to keep firing for sure w/o any blockers what's so ever.

It takes balls to TB here, imo.

I have no ballz.

Well, I'm not a very experienced player, and still learning, but I played a lot on nl2-10. And imo you should fold this pre. It's fine, that you know, he seems to be loose, but... Do you know about his fold to cbet stats? Sadly not. If you try to bluff on the micros, you need stats. People here can be sometimes really big callingstations. I have some hands about calling triple barrel with middle pair, A high(even in deep stacks). And these people were regs. And they didn't have a lot of hands about me. So I would avoid spots like this.

Well, learn this today. It should never be a fold. If you don't 3bet it, fine, but at least call.
Hand is great multiway if there are more callers, and even if someone 3bets (which doesn't happen a lot on the micro's) you are fine to call that and see a flop.

People overfold quiet a lot to 3bets on the micro's because they aren't used to it (people also 3bet way too little)
So I'm totally fine with occassionaly 3bet hands like this. Easy fold to a 4bet and if you get called your hand plays itself.

That being said. You can make money with folding this hand and playing more TAG and straight forward. But if you open up a bit There is tons of extra cash to be made. Even at the micro's..

IMO OTT you should cbet a lil bit lower so you with the intent to shove the river and give villain worse odds.
Cbet Flop Turn and check the river with ZERO SD value is the worst line possible.

Well I missed that we are BU, that way I would like the call.
What I don't like is, that we are 3betting a LAG(with a semi-bluff card), and we have no info about his postflop tendencies. And we are about double barreling/triple barreling, which would be fine with enough info about villain. And as I said, people tend to call triple barrel sometimes with air too (he called here double barrel with mid pair). If we are 3betting pre, triple barrel is fine, because we didn't really have another option here (because we have no showdown value). But 3betting is definitely not a good idea here. Maybe on higher limits its fine, because he will fold on turn most likely vs unknown player. But at micros it's not a good idea imo.
