Played Yesterday a Session, it was all going well till this Hand came...I personally did not realized it, but I'm sure I was tilted...Because I was 25$ up and ended up 25$ down...after 986 Hands...

Villain stats: 140 Hands, VPIP 40 - PFR 6 -

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $10.46
SB: $5.85
BB: $15.84
UTG: $5.81
MP: $10.00
Hero (CO): $30.18

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K♥ K♦

UTG calls $0.10, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, BB raises to $0.50, UTG calls $0.40, Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1.00, UTG calls $1.00

Flop: ($4.55, 3 players) 5♥ J♣ 6♣
BB bets $4.35, fold, Hero raises to $24.84, BB calls $9.99 and is all-in

Turn: ($33.23, 2 players) Q♣

River: ($33.23, 2 players) A♥

Spoiler

BB shows 5♦ A♠ (Two Pair, Aces and Fives)
(Pre 29%, Flop 20%, Turn 11%)
Hero shows K♥ K♦ (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 71%, Flop 80%, Turn 89%)
BB wins $31.73
Rake paid $1.50

So after that hand I made some other not good decisions...At the same time I guess I was a bit more destructed for the music which I wanted to listen to.

Therefore TODAY:

- Have only one Playlist
- Focus more on the Pre Flop Game
- Make better decisions with AK, AQ...

But all in all week is going well so far, only not happy with the Volume:

Current BR: 822$

Hello Eduardo. Good luck with your challenge :f_drink:

I have some things to say about your K♥:K♦: .

When you enter a pot and somebody limped before you and you have a good hand that you want to play you should IsoRaise the limper that means you should bet 4bb or some people prefer to IsoRaise to 5bb. You want to play versus the fish a bigger pot so it make sense to raise more preflop.

When the BB minraised you and the Fish from the UTG called the 3bet it make sense with a strong hand like yours to 4bet but... if you know the BB is a fish and we know for sure the UTG is a fish too ( limp/call ) you will want to 4bet bigger here because in a multiway pot with 2 fishes both can have some :Ax: hands in their range and if the flop will bring an Ace then you will have a tough spot to play.

I commend you for partaking in a regular exercise regime. But if you intend to do 700 pushups it is important you also work your back muscles otherwise you risk a serious muscle imbalance which could result in chronic neck, shoulder and back pain lasting for years similar to what I experienced from doing pushups and neglecting my back. In addition to pushups you need to perform some inverse rows and chin-ups. Both exercises together work the entire back muscles. You need to include these back exercises so the chest muscles do not pull on the weaker untrained back muscles which could result in much discomfort if this occurs. Train your back as well as your chest! Plus you want to look like a beast from behind and not just from the front.

This was my plan for yesterdays Session...

– Have only one Playlist - Did not work out
– Focus more on the Pre Flop Game - Worked out well, folded a couple of hands after a 3 Bet which I normally would call
– Make better decisions with AK, AQ… - This worked out well....I did not push direct after a 3 bet or 4 Bet All In, instead I saw many times the flop and even sometimes Turn...And than either folded or pushed...Not sure if this is the right play, but It worked out for me...As I think sometimes that just pushing Pre - Flop might be not always the right play?

Hey to all of you beautiful creatures, it is time for an update....

As you guys know I actually wanted to play only ZOOM, but things were not going the way I wanted. And honestly to say, I was really not more confident in my Game (I mean I'm Still A BIG FISH)...At some point I even did not know on how to play AA, which is written in some posts above...

So after my OLD Laptop crashed an I lost all Hand History and needed to install all new, I said to my self...Let's Start fresh, give it a go to Regular Tables...And I have to say it was a good decision...I even figured it out, on how to cope with the issue of finding new tables, now it is MUCH easier....Why I did not think before of that...Any how...

For me Regular Tables:

I more confident in my Game
I have more reads on Players
I can color mark them correctly and play hands against them as well correctly

So this are the Results from the last 9 Days. I'm not happy with the volume which needs to be improved. But as now the Hay Fever is on the way, I'm just to tired from the Tablets I need to take.... And YES I know it is a very very very small sample size...

Bankroll is now at: 878$

So yeah I'm very happy, and happy about my work as well...Reviewing hands, and thinking about them...By the way I started to post as well on Poker-strategy as I have sometimes some issues to post here. The post from yesterday still does not show up.Even I have written a support ticket...

Personal:

The reopening Plan for the Hotel is done! We will open the Doors again from the 28th of May, but very slowly and step by step...

One Punch Man Challenge is going strong:

This week...

600 Push Ups
600 Sit Ups
600 Squats

Very little running this week, because of the Hay Fever...

In Love with AK...What would be a better play here?

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

SB: $10.00
BB: $10.64
UTG: $10.00
MP: $12.93
CO: $10.20
Hero (BTN): $19.35

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has A♥ K♣

UTG raises to $0.35, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.95, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.60

Flop: ($2.05, 2 players) A♣ J♠ 7♥
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.57, UTG raises to $4.00, Hero raises to $18.40 and is all-in, UTG calls $5.05 and is all-in

Turn: ($20.15, 2 players) T♥

River: ($20.15, 2 players) 6♥

Spoiler

UTG shows J♥ J♦ (Three of a Kind, Jacks)
(Pre 57%, Flop 97%, Turn 91%)
Hero shows A♥ K♣ (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 43%, Flop 3%, Turn 9%)
UTG wins $19.24
Rake paid $0.91

To the Villain - So far I have only 46 Hands on him...Some Stats VPIP 17/ PFR 13 /WTS 3/5... I just joined the table and he played actually a very questionable hand before....

Pre-Flop:

I think the 3 Bet from the BU is alright. As UTG Opened the Hand...I guess we can give him a Range of 11% UTG as his overall VPIP is at 17% ?

But I guess he would call maybe only with 5,2% ...And we are slightly ahead here with AKo

Flop

I made a C-Bet here, because he checked and based on his play before I thought he would Fold here. Now when he raises do we put him automatically on a set? Or do we give him as well an A in his hand? Maybe even a straight draw? I guess with KK he would not do it?

Pot Odds are here- 3.1:1 and we need 24% Equity here to call. Do I understand it right?

I push than, instead of a call. And once the T arrives... I would might have find a Fold here, because his street might be here...

So really not sure If my play was now right, or I should have just called in the situation. As hes raise on the Flop would suggest something strong...

Hey to all of you beautiful people...Hope all are fine?

This week was really not good....And I try to figure out why, But I actually know why...

Results for this week, with a VERY low volume because of Mindset Issues...

This is what was happening this week, and I can only blame myself for it:

No Study
Playing to loose, and disregarding all the Ranges
Calling tooo loose
Chasing draws and streets
Not Focusing properly on the Session
Watching mobile Phone while playing
Getting on Tilt
Taking some plays personal (getting to attached to my Hand)
Checking always during the session your winnings or loss...

This are the results for the last 17 Days, volume is is low as for obvious issues from top...

How to move forward? Obviously very easy? Just plug all the leaks from above :f_drink:

For me personally I need to take a more different approach...

Meditation
Study
Study
Study
Focus on the session
Remove all distractions during play
Post Hands...

I believe first of the Fundamentals needs to be there, and than you can slowly move on. Therefore for the Study it will be all about...

Pre-Flop Ranges (raising and Calling)
3 Bet Pots

I mean if you really want to achieve YOUR GOALS than you have to remove all distractions, and just Focus on what you want to get.Success is a hard work...

It is EASY either you want it or you don't want it...

Here are two Videos, which demonstrate what is actually happening with us...

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

fold, MP raises to $0.30, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

Rake paid $0.95

Pre-Flop:

I guess the Call was right, as my hand is not good enough to 3 Bet and I would be than out of Position.
On both Villains I do not have any Stats Yet...

I plugged it into Equilab..

Flop:

Flop is actually very good from me, Middle Position he could gave any A3, A5,A8 hands or some overpairs...

River

When he raises me on the River, should this be a Fold?

It is unlikely villain barrelled A 4 to make a runner runner straight. But more likely he flopped a set, turned top two pair, or even went crazy with TPTK or an overpair. You are never folding in this spot. You beat too many hands. It was a cooler.

You could not realistically 3/bet his c/bet without risking him folding everything but an overpair on that dry flop. So calling there was fine. Unfortunately he caught up on the turn but that is poker.

You could have 3/betted him on the turn with a potential flush and straight on river to charge him to draw, and also value bet against any made hand.

I wanna XR turn for sure here, you want to build the pot and charge whatever draws he may have. At this point we dominate so much of his range that we are wanting to play for stacks
