bet the flop, bet/shove turn.

Slowplay isn´t good. You are the aggressor and trips are never enough strong to slowplay. Bet flop normal size. Against aggression I would go broke (he would easily have weaker 8 , overpair or something.
As played: On turn also no reason to fold - here he can push with KQ, AQ (ofcourse slowplayed weaker 8 too), which all are big underdogs.

I'm afraid I don't see him limping in preflop with anything except small pocket pairs. When playing the hand, I thought he was pushing on a Q... but now don't think it was realistic

it is logical, that he limp/calls with small PP , but suited connectors (98, 78) also are within limp/call range often. And sometimes they do that with very mystical hands. Even when stats seems to be TAGish.

I don't like slowplaying here, you're likely to get called on the flop by the TAG with pockets and the fish anyway, so you're missing out value.

As played on the turn you can't get away from it because when he raises the fish it could be anything (like a Q), and after you reraise you're comitted.

If he raises you on the flop then I think you can actually get away from it, because it will be 33 so often and he won't often try to bluff you in a multiway pot with the fish.
