I would sign for a pay day like that, but it's always tough to lose the jackpot if you are so close:f_thumbsup:
Maybe at the end of the day the jackpot will reach 90k, but 100k still more than a weak to go I think.
We may have 100k by end tomorrow I think - I started playing at 90k this time - enough coins to spare

Thanks - been dry for a while - only hit trips once but a lot of A highs recently. Knowing that next month is freerolling feels good though the dream is always to score the big one.

If 1 coin == 1 cent, then when the jackpot reached 100, there had already been 5,000,000/7 7-cent attempts, which would be 714,000 7-coin plays.
Since the odds of getting a royal are 650,000:1 we would expect 1 or two spin attempts in that time.
There have been six unsuccessful spins (that I've seen) so I'm guessing at least some of the spins are 70-coin attempts, since the odds of hitting a mere straight flush are 65,000:1
This assumes that the entire starscoin cost is added to the prize pool.
I remember reading somewhere the PokerStars takes no "rake" from this game.
