No reads on BB. I open and BB call. Cbet flop half pot and pot turn. One thing I noted in this one was that BB snap checked river. If he had full house I would think he would often take bit longer. So as default line I believe we want to check but would you bet small with some specific reads or perhaps because of villain river snap check?

I would go with halfpot bet and like 2/3 turnbet vs callhappy and trying to get som value on the river.
Often find value on river if I not bet to big. With a snapcheck I go for small bet.

@nidorino, in such a spot, what do you in response to an all-in when you bet small?
I find that these are the toughest spots, since they are ideal for villains to check/raise (I'm no PLO expert _cry: )

without reads, vbet small when blocking pairs/boats, otherwise check

Well they are good and bad spot to x-r. Of course when I bet flop and pot turn I am repping pretty much A or K high flush. Problem for river x-r is going to be what I did here. I checked A high flush. So it means also that I will very rarely bet river anymore ---> villain doesn't get chance to value raise or bluff.

That is why this is imo common spot for donk bet. For me there is two chances to have full house. I have set or two pair with high flush or nut flush blocker. Then again if I do have showdown value I would probably not try to bluff with nut blocker versus most people. Not that I would necessarily often bluff air with blocker either.

Theory wise it could be good to turn made hand into bluff if board doesn't pair and have fh sometimes when it does. But then again I would be hesitant to try to get flushes to fold with triple barrel as it's going to be very high risk. Plus if we have set or two pair it makes villain fh draw less likely and flush more likely.

Was coming to comment that this would probably make sense as default line.
