PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

MP: $6.24 (124.8 bb)
CO: $5.84 (116.8 bb)
Hero (BTN): $5.23 (104.6 bb)
SB: $5.17 (103.4 bb)
BB: $4.93 (98.6 bb)
UTG: $5.22 (104.4 bb)

SB posts $0.02, BB posts $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has T♦: T♣:
UTG raises to $0.12, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.12, 2 folds

calling with intention to either set mine or play as an over-pair

Flop: ($0.31, 2 players) 7♥: 7♠: 2♥:
UTG bets $0.10, Hero raises to $0.25, UTG raises to $0.85, Hero folds

the villain is betting really small, I am raising with the intention to protect my over-pair, on re-raise I am folding cause it looks like a monster pair that wants to get it in - would you recommend another line?

Results: $0.81 pot ($0.03 rake)
Final Board: 7♥: 7♠: 2♥:

UTG wins $0.78

A pre-flop 3bet could be a option as well, but it depends a little bit on the villain you dealing with. Flop seems fair enough to try to get some value and protection with a raise. It's to bad you face a 3bet now. I expect you are most likely up against a over pair as well. Tough to think villain would 3bet with 88 or 99 and is folding fine I think.
