Hi ta2ks,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :welcome:

pre-flop seems pretty standard, although I hope you took a note that CO opens very wide.

The turn gives CO an open-ender so their bet is correct. It also makes a host of other hands possible, such as sets, made straights etc. Qx is also solidly in CO's range, as are overpairs.

It is hard to advise what the best move here is, since we already know the outcome, but it seems that just flat-calling the turn and trying for a cheap river might be best.

I suggest that you hide the results part of the hand history in spoiler tags -- just highlight what you want to hide and click the third button from the right on the toolbar.

All the best,
VS

Hello. Thank you for the answer and suggestion to hide the results. I’m quite new at the tables, so I have a lot of problems in post flop. I was considering raising /fold on the turn, if he calls-check/fold a river. As a beginner I think that play won’t be so costly.
Cheers

I would check/call the turn, also on the river depending on the betside. Would not expect a lot of Q in the range of the CO limping. But possible.. 74o of opponent very bad play.

Hi. Thank you for the answer. I checked the turn and he raised 80% of his stack so i reraised him all in.

The CO is basicly shoving the turn with in mind villain hasn't to much money behind if you call. So shoving or calling is almost the same with in mind you are committed on the river. Villain is pot betting in to 2 villains and that makes it less likely he/she is bluffing and JJ is just a bluff catching hand on a Q high board and i would just give up.

It's funny to see the outcome of the hand, but CO play makes no sense at all I think. Pre-flop limping with 74o is really optimistic and his/her post-flop line as well in a multi way pot. Villain is just bluffing the turn and gets lucky on the river.

Cheers,

Yes on turn I called to catch a bluff or semi-bluf. I’m wondering if my check on the turn allows him to bluff? Maybe there is HUD stats on villain which shows if he capable to bluff like this?
Thanks for the answer.

With aggression factor you can see if someone is bluffing. You need a decent amount of hands to know for sure.

What is wrong with you all? You are discussing about turn while 'hot point' in this hand is actually flop. Betting flop there with JJ without even club is very questionable. Are there any good turn cards for our hand? I can understand betting this in HU, but what we want to achieve in multiway? Checking if opponents have better hand and then check/folding most turns?

Hello. Considering that both villains limped, and with flop board texture like this, Raise/fold allows me to know where I’m at. Sets or two pair would reraise? QXs of clubs is most likely to call.
But QXs on the turn won’t raise to pot size so often I guess, so it allowed me to think he’s bluffing. (some straights would bet so much, just now figured out that)
That’s my thinking process on that hand. I guess as a fresh poker player I should play by more conservative guidelines.
Thanks for the answer.
Cheers
