Imo you cant fold after you raise the river.

But raising the river doesent make too much sense. What hands do you expect him to call with ? unless he is a big calling station, and donks/call hands like 88, A6 KT, you should just call. Against his line i would never fold after i raise the river. He can have some Jx ofcourse, but he can rebluff you, or jam worse hands.
After you raise otr almost like 3x his donksize i would never fold in this situation, unless i have some reads on villian.

IMO you either jam river and not worry about the jack or just call the donk lead.. My guess not looking at anything is EV wise call is probably best, but him checking turn then leading river again is a weird line for jacks.

with your raise what is he calling you with if he doesnt have a jack: KQ, 10's? k10? i dont see much out there.

I would just call the river. You have a bluff catcher and tough to get value if you raise and you need to have a plan if you face a shove.

Or shove the river first and have the opponent make the difficult decision 🙂👍 the fold later on is not necessarily bad, you had a plan of getting a call after your raise; that plan didn't succeed, so folding is also an appropriate reaction 👍

Thank you, yes, I wasn't getting called by many worse hands at this spot. I also thought it was a weird line for Jacks, but it made sense if he had a weaker one.

LMcrow, I have never been rebluffed here in this spot after a raise and a reraise on river. Maybe on your levels people do that, but here is always a J atleast.

I think after villain donks the flop we can assume he's a weaker opponent.

The only thing putting me off a river raise is the fact he bets 3/4 pot. In general when players size up it's often a tell.
I don't mind this line although it is thin, vs this opponent he could definitely call wide with a weaker king in this spot. Think it's an easy fold when we get re-raised.
