Thanks a lot for the help.
I did a completely fresh installation of PokerStars. So there is not really a point of trying a re-installation, IMO.
Don't really want to go down that rabbit hole and try to fix it ATM, so I will just continue to play on my MacBook.

It seems like you are doing well at the moment.

I really think playing AK hands preflop is annoying when there is a lot of action... Do you 4bet? Do you call 5bets or shoves...? If you have no reads on villain?

anyway, nice hand!

Poker doesn't make sense to the human mind. That's why it is such a beautiful learning ground for deeper self awareness.

Agreed. What is even more annoying though is thinking that it is wise to fold AKo multiway, then finding out that you were up against 3 worse Aces, and none of them hit and you would have won. πŸ‘Ώ

When that happens, I tell myself -- out loud if necessary:

from the collected wisdom of Vorpal
A good fold is a good fold no matter what happens later

BR Challenge Update

Week: 8 (5 July 2021 - 11 July 2021)
Hands played: 2081
Limits: NL5
Profit: $8.63
BR: $194.12

The week started out great, but then I had a minor downswing at the end. Overall, I am happy with my play and results. With QQ I ran once into KK and once into AA where I lost 2 stacks. And I lost a preflop all-in with AKs vs AQ. Never got paid off with my KKs and AAs. But hey, that's poker. Here is the graph.

Hand of the Day - 5 way 3Bet Pot

Didn't expect so many callers pre-flop 😳. Not really sure about my post-flop play. How much equity do I have with an over pair vs 5 players OTF? I know, I am supposed to bet smaller in multi-way pots, so I cbet < 25%. Is checking an option?
OTT I closed my eyes and got it in, don't want to see a bad card on the river. πŸ˜…

Equity
Quite a lot, I think.
Best case scenario, the other 4 players all have AKo
Your big raise OTT looks to them like a set -- or at least two pair.

Checking the flop...
Not me thanks. The CBet builds the pot vs lots of worse hands. I'll let others discuss the sizing..

nice hand!

Actualy i think he never has a set in this spot. All this hands are fold or cold call pre, never a squeze: 33, 55, 77, 88.

Good luck with the grind :f_drink: .

These are amazing results. You probably wonder how the chances are that I am running so good? Well, I played an NL5 HU cash game session vs a player from my home game and was running him over. πŸ˜…

Check out the graph from the HU game:

Thanks! Yes, we are still friends. It's not that I forced him to play me. It might have been more wise to take it more easy, but that is easier said than done. Tough to give up short term edge in favor of long term edge. I guess that is a skill, too.
