I don't think Liverpool will succeed with defending the Premier League title.
Already 19 points difference with Manchester City with 12 matches to go.
I think they need to go for a top 4 place now. That will be tough enough.
Looks like the Liverpool fans have a rough period on the moment. I expect they need to win the Champions league to have a change to play the tournament next year. Even reaching Europa league gets tough if they stay playing like this, but time will tell.
4 points in it with 9 games to go so 4th is still very achievable but for sure Liverpool have hit a horrific run of form of 6 home defeats in a row and now 7 defeats in 9 games. But who knows Champions league still up for grabs and only 4 points in it so all to play for towards the end of the season but it's been a massive collapse.
It's 5 points, but whatever. First see if the can win against Arsenal on 3th of April.
At least they won against Arsenal and they are now 3 points behind, but it's all close to each other. In Champions League they had a bad day yesterday against Real Madrid. Especially the defenders had a tough time, but the referee had some crusial mistakes as well. 3-1 is still a decent change. They need to score at least 2 times and keep Real Madrid of scoring.
The goalkeeper scores the winner with the last kick of the match to keep Champions league hopes alive.
Top 4 qualify for Champions league with 2 matches left to go it could come down to goal difference.

I saw something like that on a Dutch news site and I can watch a Dutch youtube video as well. That works better than the youtube video you posted. it's not available for me.
I had to do a search to see that, since the video posted isn't available in Canada.
This one might work for those others that can't see RedsYNWA's video
I didn't know keepers ever played as an additional attacker in football.
You learn something knew every day.
I remember Man Utd great Peter Schmeichel coming forward, often for corners late in the match when Man Utd were trailing. He scored 11 goals in his career and all would have gotten his side a draw at least.
Liverpool started good in the competition. Maybe they can play for the title again.
They are the only club without losing in the competition so far, but only 7 of the 38 matches played.
Even though i support Man City, I still enjoy watching games featuring Liverpool. Sometimes these guys surprise me with their brilliant game.
Liverpool is most likely the only competitor for Manchester City to win the Premier League this year.
Also they reached the quarter final of the Champions League. Could be a nice season for them, but still a long way to go.
