BTN: 29 BB
SB: 474 BB
BB: 100 BB
Hero (UTG): 100 BB
MP: 101.5 BB
CO: 179 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♥:Q♣:

Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (5.5 BB, 2 players) J♠:A♦:5♠:
BB bets 3 BB, Hero ???
I pretty much always raise a donk unless I have no equity -- is this sensible?
Is it sensible in this case?
Is the sizing proper?

I would like to control the pot in position and with raising flop you isolate yourself in to better and in best case a flush draw. Also QQ is hard to improve if you are behind with 1 clean out.

Cheers,

just clicked it back -- thinking to lead on most turns.

The rest of the runout ...
Flop: (5.5 BB, 2 players) J♠:A♦:5♠:
BB bets 3 BB, Hero raises to 6 BB, BB calls 3 BB

Turn: (17.5 BB, 2 players) Q♦:
BB checks, Hero bets 11.5 BB, fold

Hero wins 17 BB
Rake paid 0.5 BB

Yeah, this is one of those times when I bet bigger since my opponent has shown interest in continuing.
But there are now two flush draws showing, and at least one possible made straight, so I priced the turn a bit high.

He can certainly call with worse -- but isn't folding any better.
In the latter case though, I have full-house outs.

I like just calling in this spot b/c there are some donks who will have top pair + here and its good to keep the pot small and the rest will be semi-bluffing with middle/bottom pair or a draw/air so we can let them build the pot for us.
