PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.02/$0.05 - 5 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG: $3.92 (78 bb)
CO: $5.16 (103 bb)
BU: $7.23 (145 bb)
SB (Hero): $5.00 (100 bb)
BB: $26.00 (520 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.07) Hero is SB with K A
UTG calls $0.05, 2 players fold, Hero raises to $0.35, BB calls $0.30, UTG calls $0.30

Flop: ($1.05) A 2 J (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets $0.15, Hero calls $0.15, BB raises to $0.50, UTG calls $0.35, Hero calls $0.35

Turn: ($2.55) 6 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.95, UTG calls $0.95, Hero calls $0.95

River: ($5.40) 2 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $3.83, UTG calls $2.12 (all-in), SB (Hero) folds

I 3bet UTG's limp from SB. BB just flats, I'm a bit suspicius.
OTF I have a TP in multiway on a relatively dry board. I check but not sure if bet would be better.
BB raises and UTG calls. I don't like my situation but I decide to call.
OTT I rather check to see the action. BB bets half and UTG calls. I don't know what to do I just call. In retrospect, I think I should fold.
River shove is too much for me and I don't think I can call there with just a TPTK.

I would still bet flop like between 1/2 and 2/3 pot, it is only 3way pot and you could have bluff that reps Ax. As played it is very difficult to get their ranges... any info on them?

UTG is a weak player, that's it.

Not much useful comment.

It's definitely not a terrible play.
You should try to assign ranges to the players though. Especially the BB. What is their preflop flatting range, what is their value range and their bluffing range.
I think, it is tough though, without any info. Hard to find good bluffs. If BB is a fish they could have a merged value range, of which you beat the bottom part.
Very close spot, I think you have easier decisions if you bet flop, turn and river.

i have tried to inspire you to do more work on your own, so far unsuccessfully.

3 way i like the check line you have taken. that way you see the action develope and you do not have to bet / fold burning your equity.

when the BB check raises, you have to know, how much the population raises c-bets in general and make your decision OTF.

either they raise all the time, then go for a calldown, or they dont raise ever, than fold right away OTF.

calling half of your stack w a hand that is top of your range and fold to that inevitable river shove is burning money.

you could also look into combinatorics:

he does not rep anything. he does not have JJ nore AA. so we are looking at 3 combos of 22, 1 combos OTR 2 and 9 combos of AJ.

so when he is bluffing at all, he is probably overbluffing here.

I'm sorry, I don't understand, please what do you mean by this?

I would raise pre-flop around 25c against 1 limper from UTG. 35c seems to much or villain is really fishy.

Flop I would Cbet all the time with top pair top kicker. You can easy Cbet 60c for value and protection here. Now you get in a really awkward spot.

River I would fold as well against the post-flop aggressor and the call of the short stack. Tough to believe you can profitable call against 2 villains with only top pair.

Cheers,

Not much useful comment.

Why? Because it hurt your ego?

I am telling you the truth. Instead of playing offended just think about it as why is terrible

Just compare your comment with others. I think it says enough.
If you saw my terribly played hands I've shared on my blog before, you wouldn't think your comment could hurt my ego.

The truth of your comment is not in question.

Rather the manner of its presentation doesn't fit well here.
If your purpose is actually to help the OP, perhaps offer some suggestions about how to play it better, and not just that but why, and leave out the "terrible play part" which serves no helpful purpose.

Merry Christmas!

I'm not the one looking for a wp comment. I post hands which IMO were not well played because I want to improve. I don't know what to do with my hand quite often.

Part of the problem might be a difference of language — I'm just guessing.
There are a lot of words that indicated a hand in played incorrectly.
Some of them are mild: The hand was played ... poorly, unsatisfactorily, or inferior, or "a bit off" or "not so good"
Getting more severe: incorrectly, awful, lousy, crummy, rubbish.
Even more severe: terrible, atrocious, stinks

so if an extreme word is used where a milder one would do, an extreme reaction would be expected.

If it was just me vs the BB and he is really really aggro then I can see myself check calling all the way down on this board. But multi way on a dry flop with top pair and a back door vs weak passive UTG and aggro BB I bet this flop.
The way it is played makes it difficult to assign a range, what does UTG min bet on this flop and what is the BB check raising? It's hard to tell if we ahead now or behind.

I like the flop bet too, because:

Ax will not fold.
if they are fish they can call with KQ, Jx even.
they might check KQ, Jx if you check
a little bit easier to play. if you bet and get raised + reraised, you can find a fold even. as played, difficult to know their hand strength
