I calculated the equities of KQo and AKo against T9s with PokerCruncher.
The results (after over 10M calculations) are:
- KQo: 60.70%
- AKo: 59.48%
KQo is 1.2% better than AKo. Might be this ignorable difference or is there something explainable?
Maybe KQ block more outs of T9 than AK?

I used Equilab (it's free btw) to perform the same calculations, and got similar results.
Equity Win Tie
MP2 60.66% 60.32% 0.34% { KQo }
MP3 39.34% 39.00% 0.34% { T9s }
Equity Win Tie
MP2 59.47% 59.25% 0.22% { AKo }
MP3 40.53% 40.31% 0.22% { T9s }
I notice that KQo has slightly higher tie percentage, but other than that, I can't explain it at the moment.

I would say its about "proximity" advantage. If you check QJ will have even more equity. So when T9 will hit it will often help QJ more than AK or KQ. Of course it goes to other direction somewhat as well but higher cards will have bigger benefit.
PS: Then again this doesnt really matter at all as we cant know our opponent holding.
You get more straights with KQ than with AK -- and more still with QJ. Duh.
AKo vs T9s -- 59.47%
KQo vs T9s -- 60.66%
QJo vs T9s -- 62.14%
Note that the equity for JT > QJ > KQ > AK verus any two cards ten or less, suited, unsuited or pair.
For example, versus 86s:
JTo: 59.66%
QJo: 60.45%
KQ: 61.42%
AKo: 63.42%
As previously stated, duh.
