What is nicer than repping a hand on flop and turn and making the hand on river where villain either reps or has it? :)

After villain just limp-call pre his range is so capped on this board that aggression print money very nicely. Of course I have no idea of balanced limp-call range and very likely villain doesnt either. Then again if villain understand that his range is very capped how wide he should be ready to call down is interesting to think about.

That above spot also shows the strength of A♥: in that board and why solver would use it aggressively. My assumption is that when villain call turn pot bet he will have at weakest something like oesd+fd so to justify the call he likely need some implied odds. Though to get implieds I need to find call with my nut straight or flush hands mainly. For me question is what hands villain is bluffing. Is he calling turn with like KQJx without fd or QJJx and turning them into bluff?

Another issue in donk betting river without nuts is danger of facing raise. Of course if villain assume that I can only have AQ+nfd as my value hand it's kind of unlikely though not absurdly so. But it's not impossible for me to have hand like I had or let's say AJJ+nfd. Now why facing raise is issue is that I could theory wise do this with plain nut blocker. I didn't have much of read so unlikely I would go for big bluff like that.

But if solver gets to that river spot with A♥: I would guess it's respond is to raise lot of time whatever having it or not as SB donking river says to have flush as value. Well I might be wrong about this. But anyway interesting hand imo.

Awesome spot here to donk river big when you have it as there are so many busted draws. Of course if villain was solid he should understand I shouldnt have that much plain straight draws when calling pot turn bet on two fd board. Then again this fellow was not most solid one.

This was example of tricky spots I got yesterday versus close to vpip 100 maniac. Well he actually had some blocker value here but he was in general bluffing if he got any excuse for it. Tricky part was that he could have potentially value bet big like even 82. With 100bb stacks I would not mind to cbet and stack off flop but with 200bb that would be overplay likely even versus this guy. So checking. Betting turn as we get lot more nut potential and I was likely ahead. This guy was grossly overplaying flushes so if flush complete on river he might donk bet big any flush and snap call versus raise. Of course does open chance for x-r and possibility of facing bigger river donk bet as happened here. But hero haps top pair so what can he do?

This spot could have been better to use bit smaller 4bet size as BB is aggro gamble happy player. So that is SB call and BB does 5bet we could 6bet. As played we get empty side pot with SPR 0.8. I think its best to just shove flop as its unlikely to hit SB and we do have top pair blocker and gs as support. Not sure if we want to shove even absolutely dry AAxx?

When SB 3bet I was thinking to just call but then BB overcall so I think we can just 4bet so big that its best option. Variance heavy for sure.

Was weird and new sort of experience in todays session. I got into huge amount of reasonable/good bluffing spots which I mainly bluffed and got 80-90% of time folds. Started to feel like "Well I suppose its time for it again but surely it wont go through again?!... Well he folded".

When I read that I thought that you were referring to your own hand, but now I realize you referring to your opponent's hand.
Nut flush draw plus gutshot seems fine to me.
Opponent had same gutshot, but non-nut-flush.
His overplay seems somewhat surprising

do you think fe is usually less a factor to the pot limit?

Villain doesn't overplay postflop really. He has 2nd nut fd, double gs and bd fd but that is kind of point in my post. This is one of best draws villain can flop with his hand yet there is decent chance of being dominated still. Well this time I did have one of nastier combos but without pair he still had his 7 and 3 alive.

But yeah issue with hands like villain has is that it's tough to hit strong. Even more so in multiway pot. Like how often are you thrilled to have KT5 flop 3way with that hand?

My hand btw is not mandatory 3bet in general and reason is EP supposed tight range and fact it doesn't do that great versus AA. But as this villain EP range is more like CO range it's mandatory versus him.

Well I don't think pot limit decrease fe that much. Even if playing no limit version (like GGpoker MTT is afaik) I am not so sure if using overbets is such big part of good strategy.

Played short session after sauna today. Minor profit. Had two hands versus one of worst player in pool. I mean this preflop play is just so bad that... Its just unimaginable :)

CO open and call versus my 3bet. Should be snap open fold and fold to 3bet. I pot less than SPR 2 on flop.

Bit later though got this as payback. BU open, I 3bet, cbet flop 1/3 pot and BU just pots and we get it in. His preflop play is imo close in this. Open definitely fine but I dont love to call with that hand that much versus 3bet. Likely call is bit better than fold but this kind of hand flop very roughly which is big issue for calling. His flop play is just "lets hope to get fold or to be versus dry overpair". I dont think he can fold versus 1/3 pot cbet but raise will isolate him mainly versus range that crush him. I rarely have boat but AA or KK with fd is pretty common hand or 7x. At best I might have dryish AA or like some AT98+nfd imo.

This was interesting spot. I open MP and both blinds call. Decided to check flop as getting raised would be very awkward. Turn give me wrap and nfd and SB donks half pot and BB call. Thought that this is literally perfect combo to semibluff raise and went for 3/4 pot size. I can also have hands like AAxx, AKxx here pretty easily. Also half pot is bit weak looking size from SB imo. Good side in having K is to also block KK and second pair only has fairly limited showdown value. I think I would prefer calling AQJT much more. Well also for not being able to have nfd. If I happen to face pot 3bet it would be call as I have potentially even 18 nut outs. Of course not what we want to see but should be rare. Both villain though folded so boring but good outcome :)

Did withdraw good chunk of the roll but will start tomorrow with 2.5k€ to 30k€ new challenge. Idea is to start with 50/50 mix of PLO25 and PLO50. So kind of same as I have done recently but hopefully PLO50 run will be better than it was in previous challenge.

This went in such beautiful way. Active recreational on my right with deep stacks, aggro 3bet happy reg on my left and I get fairly weak AAxx on BU. Very nice spot for just call. As hoped SB goes for squeeze and CO call (he wouldnt fold anything likely). I get to 4bet and get isolated versus CO.

Versus same recreational player than above. He opens SB, I 3bet, cbet flop 3/4 pot, 1/4 pot on turn and pot shove on river.

Posted interesting hand into hand area: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=530094

One of ugly ones. I open MP and call BB 3bet. Flop villain cbet half pot and I could go either way. Decided to call as there is not huge amount of protection needed. Turn BB barrel close to pot and we get it in.

Spoiler

MP minraise, CO call, I call in BU, SB squeeze and we go 4way on flop. Decided to check flop blocking wraps with my hand and board being rainbow. Turn SB bet half pot and river we get it in. Dirty one :)

Unibet seems to have on Mondays this new "short stack master" promotion. Idea is that there is PLO50 table with buyin between 10-20bb. Goal is to get biggest stack and winner will get 50€ cash ticket. Not sure if it's about biggest stack who left table or about biggest when promotion time ends.

Personally can't see that much point in it. Chance to get ticket is likely fairly low and when you play with ton of short stacks around it will limit profitable ranges quite a bit. Especially if short stacks play aggressive preflop though mostly they probably don't understand how they should play. There was still fair amount of limping and calling raises. But if you compare to playing normal tables I have hard time to see this being more +ev.

Not sure about rake of that is possibly different. Other side of coin is how does it affect player pools in normal plo50 tables or perhaps also plo25 or plo100. I think there was less people on plo50 at least though I don't usually play much on Monday anyway as player pool has been smaller. Might be also reason Unibet has chosen that day for this promotion. So there is perhaps possibility it will draw some new players in to tables.

Few hands from today if someone happens to be interested.

Spoiler

Open BU and call SB 3bet. Call flop pot and turn 2/3 pot shove. Nice surprise when villain show hand. "Oh I am ahead" :)
Having 3 suit is not nice but cant see QJTT being fold preflop? Rainbow version I would have folded.

Spoiler

Another surprise result. I open BU and both blinds call. Not sure of flop but especially BB is very aggro and having 3 suits and deep stacks I could get into awkward spot if I cbet and get raised. Like if I had A high with three club I would often just cbet-fold but with AA I think that is bad approach. Turn BB leads for really weird 1/4 pot, I and SB call. River nuts and just went for pot assuming its tough to get call from less than flush anyway in three way pot. SB thinks for long time and folds and then BOOM BB repots. I am like wow wtf! Of course I shove in case villain overplay 2nd nuts or something. Might have been bluff as well as this guy was quite crazy. Perhaps didnt believe to my nuts with flop check.

Hey ghaleon,

I would like to ask you if withdraws are smooth on Unibet? Because I heard some rumours, and I just want to be sure, that Unibet is the site to play on.

Because rake seems very, very good at low stakes. And then rakeback looks alright, too, right?

Btw, have you ever chased the rake races?

Thank you for the answers and GL :f_drink:

Well I cannot participate for these PS rake races. I have withdrawn from Unibet dozens of times straight to bank account and it has probably never took longer than three bank days. Usually it's like 1-2 bank days.

Rakeback is not that high if you can't rake lot but I think rake is indeed on ok size. Though I have not compared sites in good while. In low stakes rakeback will stay between 10-20% if I remember right. There are some promotions running quite frequently so there is some extra available. Like currently there is price drop promo on cash tables.

You won't have any sort of hud or tracker support which is biggest downside. But I think that also keep games bit softer. Client own hh system has some sort functions these days so it's actually ok to find certain hand based on pot size and hand. Client has worked in stable manner so very rare to get crashes.
