This one went for preflop squeeze with deep stacks. On flop with like SPR 2 I would just shove over this pot donk but we are SPR 4 with other villain. I think hand is bit too strong to fold but I dont want to iso shove. So called with plan to fold is third villain shove and that happens. Jesus these hands from villains though

Here just taking donk bet line from flop as this type of flop is usually not cbet that wide. Villain did think long on river but no call, meh.

Would have been tricky spot in blank river in this one as villain is very aggro. Bit easier with nuts though :)

These kind of hands are perhaps most annoying type to lose imo:

So CO minraise, I 3bet. I pot flop and shove turn. Villain make absurd preflop and flop play and gets there.

This was also from yesterday. Very close spot on turn whatever to call versus shove or not. Issue is my weak fd and turn opening other fd which weaken my wrap. Probably fine either way. Both villains should have easy fold preflop but in long run its good they overvalue these hands. I think for my hand flop check is pretty clear in 4way pot but probably cant fold to such small flop bet with nut gs as support. If I had only J high fd I would fold right away.

Yesterday was pretty crappy run wise until last moments. Was thinking of ending session and that was moment when things started to go in nice way once again.

Spoiler

This was biggest pot of the day. Just your casual almost 80bb on pot before seeing flop. It was kind of nasty to see two calls in position when there was maniac on SB and indeed we get huge squeeze. I think my hand with two high suit is probably too good to fold in this case. On flop went with 1/3 bet and shove on turn with SPR 0.5. Just praying BU doesnt show JJ. Flop SPR was 1-1.5 so yeah no way not stacking off here anyway. But I thought if BU has wrap (which I dont block at all) he probably call with such good pot odds.

But yeah as usual hand I would not have got involved in villain shoes in preflop.

This was funny and lucky hand. This hand is not one you necessarily want to 3bet anyway but MP had been limping a lot so when he raised I didnt really even think of 3betting. Get squeeze from SB and flop way too strong hand to fold. Very similar hands for everyone :)

Rakeback is not that high if you can't rake lot but I think rake is indeed on ok size. Though I have not compared sites in good while. In low stakes rakeback will stay between 10-20% if I remember right. There are some promotions running quite frequently so there is some extra available. Like currently there is price drop promo on cash tables.

You won't have any sort of hud or tracker support which is biggest downside. But I think that also keep games bit softer. Client own hh system has some sort functions these days so it's actually ok to find certain hand based on pot size and hand. Client has worked in stable manner so very rare to get crashes.

I am in regular contact with Unibet to discuss advertising promos etc.
One of the topics is how to stand out of the crowd of poker rooms.
Personally (as a player,so not looking at my avatar here) it is nice to see that every day is a special day.
I actually like the short stack day because everyone has the edge of luck here. Contrary, the day with the deep buy in is probably... tougher.
In any case, I think Unibet is going the right way:
- restricting promos to recreationals while not totally forgetting the grinders (rake races etc -> luckily PokerStrategy players can take part!)
- offering low rake instead of standard incentives like "20% RB everyone"
- not allowing the HUD and HHs ->better chances for the population to win against ghaleon!

Personally, payment processing has been outstanding, Unibet is well following regulations so I don't see a chance to have anything happen to it.
As mentioned earlier, there is no "standard RB",so it is hard to calculate a specific %

Around 200€ down today. Just so many nasty spots that didn't go my way. Biggest one was open raising JT97ds from BU, SB 3bet, BB cold 4bet and it comes to me. Thing was I had 100bb Vs SB and close to 300bb versus BB.

BB was really tight so he has AAxx and I have like best sort of AA cracker so I call. Also danger that SB happens to shove but that should only be from AAxx and that would be good news for my preflop equity. SB does fold though.

Flop comes K♥:J♥:T♠: where I had bottom two pair, double gs and fd. SPR was like 2 or something I think. BB pots so I kind of doubted I have all outs alive. Still can't fold. Villain had AATx with three hearts. My flop equity was 47% so in good shape. Turn A just pretty much killed my hand. But yeah that was possibly biggest pot I have played. Unless some multiway one might have been bit bigger.

Just reminder of variance of playing deep stacked. Have to check tomorrow some hands. Just feels like there was quite a few dirty ones.

There was one really nice versus aggro opponent where I completely "pwned" villain by taking x-c line with turned nuts after x-r flop. He just got it back right away with absurd QJ65ds 3bet from BB. But this villain is one of those who overvalue ds hands by huge margin.

Some pots from yesterday.

Spoiler

I think this was standard. BU open, I 3bet, BU 4bet and I call. X-c flop SPR 1. Pretty standard 3bet from SB and this sort of Axxx does play imo good enough versus AAxx heavy range to call 4bet.

Spoiler

This was very standard. MP open, I 3bet, half pot cbet flop, pot turn SPR 1.5 and MP shove for some weird reason. Well I would have ended calling river donk anyway probably on that river but turn shove make no sense without showdown value and no fe. Lucky fellow to flop wrap with that hand though probably its fine preflop and flop play from him. Really lucky flop anyway...

Spoiler

This was hand I wrote out of memory yesterday. Only 250bb deep though but big ass pot anyway.

Spoiler

This one was the payback hand I mentioned previous post. Open BU and call BB 3bet. Flop villain check and I went with pot unblocking fd and pairs. BB shove. I suppose flop is fine from him but that preflop 3bet is quite  play.

Spoiler

Hand where I won nice pot from that villain moment earlier. Call BU open. X-r flop, x-c turn and x-c river shove. Villain actually made hand on river but he was going to blast non pairing rivers all day long. But yeah I knew villain is very aggro and 56 is very believable hand to rep for him. When I also blocked some two pair and sets this felt very reasonable spot to protect my check range.

Spoiler

Biggest won pot of the day. Preflop action was joke. EP limp, CO raise, I 3bet, BB cold call, EP call and CO call. Flop I just pot, EP and CO goes in. CO play was fine but EP... :f_thumbsup:

Spoiler

Open BU and call SB 3bet. Flop villain bet 3/4 pot. I think both call and raise are reasonable. I called. Turn SB check and I take free river. River SB pot and calls my shove.

Spoiler

Preflop allin almost 200bb deep. Flop gave hope but no sugar.

This feels kind of déjà vu from previous challenge. First week I made close to 1k€ profit and last two days around 400€ down. Very often I just wonder wtf my opponents are doing after they have scooped whole pot from me. Had e.g. twice today fishy guys giving action with bottom two pairs versus my set in 4way pot. First bd flush comes and on second it's bd straight.

Lot of other big setups os suckouts and when I didn't take down that many flips either it's probably kind of good to be down just 200€. Yeah also one AA vs AA preflop all-in beat today.

Well variance is bi*ch sometimes. Better luck tomorrow.

Thought to keep today free from actual play and check hands to see if I did some blunders in last two days.

Spoiler

This was biggest loss yesterday. Pretty standard imo. Perhaps it would be better to check flop though as I have K♠: also. That block one of main candidates to give action. Then again I dont block wraps around 54 and those BU could also have. Still SPR 3 there is no way for me to get away from this. So either bet or x-r to stack off flop reasonable. Still 35% equity even versus top set.

Perhaps dirtiest beat from yesterday. I open, maniac BU 3bet. BB cold call, I 4bet and both call. Flop BB donk and we get 3way allin. I think for BB cold call is worst option. 4bet or fold both make sense to me considering BU 3betting almost any4. Issue though is that I obviously played tight as raise-fold versus BU made no sense to me.

Spoiler

Villain is very good customer open raising way too wide and not folding anything ever. That said I am not sure if I like my 3bet to iso him. Hand is DS and decently connected but its not like I push any preflop equity advantage even versus wide range. When he 4bets I think he has AA almost always and its easy call. Flop I just donk shove two pairs. I kind of like 3betting or folding though. Not hand I want to get into likely 3way pot OOP.

This was one of spew plays probably. Though I remember making it because I saw completely absurd triple barrel bluff earlier from this guy. But yeah I dont block boats at all so...

Anyway BU open, I 3bet, cbet flop half pot, x-c turn versus pot bet and x-c river. I also thought that villain potting turn felt bit weird with SPR 2. But then again recreational player probably dont think too much about it. But if he has boat especially with 8xxx his hand is very locked and smaller size would make more sense.

Spoiler

I think this hand is probably supposed to fold to 3bet. I open and aggro BB 3bet. Call flop half pot cbet and turn 3/4 pot barrel. Folded 0.4 pot river shove. Tough to see beating much on river. But yeah its tough to flop good with this hand so while we are not supposed to fold much pre I think this could be one of good folds.

Spoiler

This was pretty nice one. I open BU, SB and BB call. BB donk flop 3/4 pot, I call. Turn BB barrel 3/4 pot again and easy call for me. River BB x-c versus my pot bet. Well I would not call pre in villain shoes but I think his postflop play is fine. I would probably bet half pot on flop and pot on turn in his shoes. River is clear check for him and well he chose to hero call river. It does require me to turn set into bluff. Though it is easier for me to have dry set versus 3/4 pot turn bet.

This was interesting spot versus aggro reggy type player. So my reasoning for slowplay on flop was that I block stack off ranges with all my cards and have bd fd so more turns are good for me. If villain had potted I would just shove as most people down have bet-fold range for pot size bets. But here he will definitely have those and his hand in this one would be very reasonable one to bet-fold with A♠:. River is actually interesting from villain side. Like boats are rare for me and he blocks nut flush. Should I value bet river with Q or J high flush? Perhaps if I assume villain wont have boats in his check range which seem likely for SPR 0.6. Well not sure what bluffs I could have here. Like some QJT9 without fd would make sense. Most of K9xx I would just raise flop.

Many many big beats today as well but still over 100€ up. If EV would be available I would not be surprised if it would have been 300-400€ range. But still happy to make at least some profit.

Also played four 25€ husng with shop points. Got 100€ from those so expected value so to say. Well I probably had some edge in all games.

I was thinking of raise-folding AAxx in this one today preflop. Because when solid SB cold 4bets he will have ton of AAxx as default. I think this is very reasonable spot to fold as default. Though I suppose AA42 is not worst kind of rainbow aces. Issue though was that BU was total maniac. If SB know that he can definitely 4bet wider than normal which was reason I went with it. Well SB hand AAK2ss and BU KQQ8ds. BU hit set on flop.

More than few of these sort today. Open CO, BB 3bet (this was his first hand), I call. Flop BB cbet half pot, I call and in turn we get it in. Villain having 8 outs so over 80% equity for me. Well this is how it often feels to end when you slowplay. But yeah raising would be really bad on flop.

So this hand made me think today more about these spots. Villain is reg. What are good components for bluff triple barrel?

I think there are several factors to think about:

- Range aggressor has. This was HU so ranges are obviously wide. So its less of deal perhaps but then again I do raise OOP versus limp. So its more likely I have suited A than unsuited one. E.g. in 6 handed BU range obviously has lot more hands that has unsuited A than EP. Of course caller range matter lot as well. Especially if villain is good enough to think about these things. But I think lot wont think like "ok EP open and he barrels so he probably has it often".
- Blockers/unblockers for aggressor. So in this hand I think its good I dont block any board pair. Meaning villain is more likely to have sets or weakish flush with two pair. Which are more likely to call turn but fold river.
- My showdown value. In this we river top pair. But its irrelevant as I dont beat any part of villain range with it. But if I had AA+nfd blocker and I took line to rep nuts it would be likely reasonable check as I would beat weaker sets.
- Also I would think theory wise we are probably supposed to take this sort of line with K and maybe even Q high flush? Its HU hand after all. Of course most players have not really studied HU in itself. At least I haven't.
- In this hand turn also complete straight but I dont think straight without support is supposed to call? Maybe with high flush blocker. But I would assume most regs to not continue those versus pot bet.

Bit over 700€ up first two week for this challenge. Not great but not bad either. Plus second week my volume was lower. Partially because of some bad run but also had some non poker related stuff.

Today was not running too hot versus this one opponent in short session. Few hands:

Spoiler

Preflop is standard. Flop hand is bit too strong to fold versus half pot imo. If hand was bit weaker I suppose bluff raise could make some sense. Turn I hit top two but we still have SPR 5 so I dont really want to raise. River complete flush which suck. On non club 9 I would have probably hero called versus river bet.

Here I could have probably bet pot on turn also but I think 3/4 is fine also. Have to thank villain for not donk betting river. I think its almost mandatory to donk river in his shoes though I suppose sometimes you want to check. I just dont see my range having that often K high flush here with flop check which is main candidate to potentially get bet-calling. But yeah clear check for me in river.

Spoiler

This hand was saving my only session from today. Not totally sure about flop. I think hand is strong enough to stack off. Though maybe not versus two. Might also make sense to just pot. Also knew EP can be stacking off pretty light. Well 64% equity versus these hands though this is pretty much best case. Point in this hand though is that I really should have got it down preflop. Both of these hands are such clear folds.

Funny moment yesterday. I open CO, BU and SB call. Flop I x-c versus BU bet. Turn goes checked and river I decided to rep straight with very low showdown value and T blocker. Villain uses laugh emoji and folds after 5 secs or so. I wonder if it was like "hahaha I know you have straight" act? :)

Here it went checked to river where I pot and villain x-r. I just called here. Reasoning is that when BB raises my river pot bet his range for value should be only nuts. Plus even if its wider he would need to raise-call with weaker which is very very unlikely. Many would probably 3bet in my shoes but point is if I only get called by nuts it will just end up in higher rake amount. When I call rake amount accounted for 0,98€ and cap is 1.5€. Its normally 3€ but in 2-3 handed its halved. So actually its not as big downside and perhaps some sort of clickback 3bet could make sense. Villain showed with QJ53ss which should be fold pre.
