BIGEST LOSS $ on "SuperSport poker":

1. HU against very aggressive player, he is cbeting 100% in 3bet pots, he has bad check ranges, and has been making a lot of hero calls against me. I think it's just clear stab turn shove river (We are floting a flop with a lot of A10,AJ,KJo hands that we want to bluff, so not stabing/jaming Q10 would be really bad, we would be just easy hero called). I would say really unlucky that he has QJo.
Pot: 2457$

2. Hand against one of the best players on the site, we are almost 400 deep, I made a SQ. with bigger size, I decided to check the flop, cos I don't have 66 or77 ever (and he has always), and he has AA and KK in this spot also, so I would definitly pot control with hands like 1010-QQ often, and I want to put this hand in my check/call range to protect my range this deep, turn is really interesting, because he will not see me to have the flush really often, and I also knew he will put pressure on my range in this spot (and he can have A blocker with AQ), river is really sick, I look really week here, and most of the time I will have hands like JJ or QQ with blocker, and also he might see me always betting AK with A blocker here, this was hard spot, cos I knew how my range looks in his eyes, it's hard to find a bluff here for most of people, but I decided to call.
Pot: 1634$

3. Hand against big aggressive fish, I think the hand is self-explanatory, we just want to put as much money possible on turn, he's raising after my turn c/r every flush, and he's capable of raising with a A blocker on turn and he's not ever folding to a re-raise with that, and he's not folding the river also.
Pot: 1400$

4. Hand against a player from second hand, like I said one of the best players on the site, we played against each other 50k hands, so I know him and he knows me really good. He's LAG, and we have similar style of play (he was watching me play a lot also), he's also not afraid to put money into pot, calling 3bet even OOP pretty wide, I think against him flop is an easy bet with A9, I had bet the pot on the turn (it's a turn that we are gonna check a lot on, and I wanna to be a little more polarized, when he calls the turn he's hand looks like something 44,55,66,99,1010,89s some AJ,AQ of clubs also, he would mostly c/r 910s 33,77, or 78s, slowplayed probably only 88 and AA. On the river we are betting normal size, so now we look like Ax (something like A10 of clubs), because this guy knows that I would put part of my betting range on the river into overbet size also (I would also put hands like AA,A8s part of 88 into this size), and he also knows I'm betting thin, I called it pretty fast ingame because I knew how I will look in his eyes, and I knew that he's repping basically 88 or AA (910s he's definitly c/r with GS and bfd, and also some freq. without bfd), and he could done this play with 44,55,1010 or 89s easily. He played it really good. Most players wouldn't bet the river in my spot, but this bet was also "induce raise bet" based on our dynamics, so "I got what I've asked for".
Pot: 1355$

5. Hand against aggro fish, he 3bets,4bet calls 4bets wide. He's betting range on this flop, has a lot of air, and I decided to get it in on the flop (my Strategy in 4bet pots deep is to not have 5bet range, so I have here JJ,KK,AA, I can definitelly have raising range especially because he's betting range in this spot (and he will have a lot of air still), so raising here QQ,KK, AA is really good against him, also I'm glad to get this combo draw in it.
Pot: 1147$

Next time I will post hands from PokerStars.

If you have any questions about hands, strategy, or my thought process in hands you are welcome to ask, or give your comment.

See you next time!

Hey Guys,

Here are the bigest won hand on PokerStars (even the losing one will be a lot more interesting):

1. Don't know how to comment this

2. I think that flop raise on his end is pretty bad with AQ, he also has all the set's in the range and straight, and we are also deep,

3. Interesting hand, he played it great imo, turn sizing is really good, and there is nothing he can do based on my image, he has big range advantage (that's why he choosed that size), I decide to raise even I shouldn't be doing it a lot (but I know how people see me and I knew that they would stack here against me much more lightly), btw he was instant calling a shove on the river

4. Again hard to comment it

5. Set up

I will make probably a few streams before a interview with PokerStrategy (26.jully 20:00 CET),
you are welcome to join, be active, It will be interesting for sure because I'm in a hard run right now, loosing every value hand I get on the runouts that are insane (but I'm putting a lot of fight :))

So follow me on twitch (Link Text...)
You can join our Discord channel( https://discord.com/invite/6ybPhejzhw ) - where I'm available 24/7h,we have a lot of good players and we can work and learn together, and you can also be part of giveaway, If i have winning session I will be giving 15% if my winnings to the 3 best comments/questions on stream.

Thanks and next time, It will be a big losing hand on PokerStars :)

Hey Guys!

Like I promised here are the Biggest losing hands on PokerStars:

1. Sick Hand- I will guide you through my thought process: Ontario Donk is a big whale, Juanchiski is a reg, the preflop call is a must - when Jucanchiski also called my first instict was ("he has Aces"). He can call there also hands like JJ,or QQ, but AK didn't have sense imo (cos he will probably play it OOP 3way, and my range is super wide in this spot, and he will need to play it super deep OOP against me). On the flop is a bet, we still have percieved range advantage, we have KK that he doesn't have ever, and we have all the AK combos, also AA, so I'm betting the flop for sure, 1/4 seems good - he calls, now I was even more afraid of aces (with A of hearts that's now traping me), t:5 clear check, and interesting River: K and he bet's 1/4, now It looked more and more like a AA, and I decided to shove.

2. Nothing really to say

3. Again really interesting hand, we are against 60/40, 30% 3bet not folding anything/bluffing everything type of guy.
On the Flop: we are betting range, he's range is super wide, we have all the overpairs(99+), AK is super easy bet he calls which I expected, cos he will not fold much on the flop(against 1/3 size), Turn is a 10, giving BFD, I'm continuing to barell AK (he can't have A10 and K10 of spade which is also super nice, cos that combo's are flouting always), we also block A10s and K10s which is good, and we are basically merge betting with AK, River is 10 of hearts, I was snap calling the shove, he would turn 22-44 into bluff always, he would also call the turn with it always, I'm sure he would be also jamming with all the bfd's and probably the flush draws from the flop, not to meantion hands like 89s or 68s.

4. We are playing against a week reg, clear call of 4bet, I decided to c/r with really big size because of table dynamics and my image, and clear jam on the turn (he's also 4bettting a lot more mergy, so he doesn't have many suited combo's, he wasn't doing it with hands like A5s, A7s,A8s, K9s,K10s, he was more like 99,1010,AQo,AJo,KQo), even it's not that important in this situation

5. We are playing against a NIT HU, and I knew it will last only few hands, I check the flop which i think is fine, on the turn we have all the combo's of 55, which I will raise sometimes but mostly be calling (cos when the nit is betting turn with this size, it's not a Ax hand), so I would protect my calling range a lot also, on the river when he overbets, I knew he has trips for sure, and I just couldn't resist, just when you think about our range, we have a lot of AA checking the flop, we also have all the 55 combo's in there, and we always have the 99 here, cos 99 is never cbetting, and is always calling turn. So he shouldn't be overbetting very much in this spot. Sick thing is that he called it in last few sec. and he has over a minute of timebank. I still like my play, and I would be only having Jam size in this spot.

6. This hand we were against really big whale, on the turn I just knew he has Qx based on table dynamics and he's sizing tells, and I knew he will not fold it ever, so I just jammed and get snapped

7. Just to show you my "table image", we are against normal reg, and this was a snap call on river. I also like the way I played the hand, not blocking FD, and Blocking hands like KK, and yes KQ. Not that good of a felling, but what can you do :)

8. Again, snap call. We are against also an average reg, he c/r flop with this size, I sense he has hand like this, or J10s,Qjs, he was using a lot biger size in similar spot with set's and there is no 2pair possibility, so I was liking the situation on the flop, I would always call here against him set's, AA,KK, AK, AQ, KQs, on the turn he checks and I'm betting a lot here, I still have all the AK here, AQ, AA, KK,JJ, etc, I also have hands like 89s, River is 10, best river possible, cos now I have all the 16 combos of AQ that he doesn't have ever(played like a c/r flop ch/call turn), also I'm still jaming AK here, with set's and 89s. I was really happy when I shove, but the happiness didn't last long, we were snapped.

I decided to put 8 hands, because this hands are a lot more interesting (then the previous one), if you have any questions/comments please ask, this blog is for you guys.

I will probably do a stream in next day or two, so please follow me on twitch(MartaiMrko) and join in the stream, you are welcome to ask anything and to discuss strategy, also join our discord channel, where I will also be learning in Pio with you guys. It doesn't cost you anything, just be active and supportive - that is more then enough for me.

I will share you my graph while streaming (I only play 2 tables while streaming), so I hope we have a winning session , cos I will give 15% of my winnings to a 3 guys that have most interesting question/comment. So be sure to follow me and be with me on streams, let's work, learn and crush together!!!

How do you See the Future of online Poker with real time assist and ai etc.?

Keep it going!

Thanks Naems.

I think future of online poker will be where it needs to be. Personally I am not worried. Poker Rooms will do everything that can be done to make game fair cos their life depends on it. Even now the presolved spots are not even close reliable, because the ranges are a lot different and they vary in corelation with fishes at the tables (also you can choose any size there is in no limit holdem) . RT assist is a problem but is also an excuse.

Spots where is the bigest edge (SRP, bnvsbb, sbvsbb) are also spots where the ranges are widest (also stuff like multiway pots and deep pots) needs really a loot time to be solved, and they basically can't be presolved.

The people who will try to cheat will always be somewhere around (same as everywhere in life), so only thing which should be something firm is yourself, your game and knowledge, and then you just don't need to fear anything.

I became a big fan after talking to Marko. He is very inspirational, out of this world exploit and table dynamic reading skills, supplemented by getting devs of the highest echelon to build Breakthrough HUD for him he uses to its max potential.

Mamba mindset indeed my friend - I hope you make that series comparing weaknesses of different stakes, I will devour that instantly while I must admit low-key almost hoping not too many people will see that invaluable information

Thanks Lemon, I appreciate it!
I really enjoyed it, it was fun and the time has literally flown by.

Btw I have one interesting hand played today, you gonna like it :)
My opponent is passive average reg.

I c/r flop with smaller size, because we have a lot of hands that need protection (hands like low pocket pairs) so I think this size has a lot of sense considering our range , we are faced with a 3b from a weaker player (which I had expected) because I knew how will he percieve our c/r with this size (we basically look like 44,55,66 etc) and he can try to put a lot pressure on our range ,t:Q 2t, and he checks behind, It's pretty clear that he now has SD and that he is now winning against big portion of our range, and I imediatelly knew what hands we are against, It's hand like QJ,Q10 where he blocks our best Kx hands, and then we got to the river..

Based on what I saw from him, if I check here he's gonna bet 1/3 and fold to a raise, so I decide to go for the block bet(so he can percieve I want a cheap SD with my PP, that's why I used 10%, and he goes for a raise, I saw in the HUD he's bet-folding to a big raises more then 90%, so I decided for a small size re-raise that he just has to call and fell owned (there is no better felling when you do this to a 23/18 30 agression 26 Wtsd type of Guy :) )! This is the maxium you can get, and there is nothing he can do.

Also Guys give me your comments here, what you would like to see? I personally think that making big series about comparing pools starting from micros would be insane. We can also mix in MTT's, Zoom, Rush, playing without HUD that you can see how I would take and use reads without hud and make adjustments.

I'm open for everything, I'm here to create interesting content for you, just tell me what you would like to see.

On Thursday and Friday I'm streaming from 22:00h on my twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/martaimrko
So please join in, get into your seats, be active, ask anything. I'll make giveaway both streams, If I have winning session I will give 15% of my winnings to 3 best comments/questions on stream.

Also please subscribe and turn on notifications on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOyTUT_mGwZi82xRhpVv3vQ
If I feel your support and that you appreciate the content, I will have far more motivation to do it.
Thanks and see you Thursday!

So you are saying his line is practically completely unbalanced on K9o hand with "there is nothing he can do"?

I really liked your approach to the game. It's full of stats but you use them like a living organism and couple it on the spot with table dynamics. The sentence I will remember for a lifetime is 'I play every hand even when I'm not in in it I think about what I would do and how much to bet'. Nowadays I think this is under valued when most are slight winner but need a lot of volume in order to get enough rakeback. But I promise I will take your words to heart and apply them in the crazy short deck games!

I'm not saying his line is completely unbalanced(I generally like the line and hand that he used), but the thing is, that this line is completely out of the character for him. First of all, I knew he will be traping me with his best hands (cos I'm generally doing a lot of overbets on turn and rivers), also there is a lot of sense in slowplaying in his perception (where I have so many week hands, where I do a lot of merge c/r for protection, and Guy with this style of play and aggression will slowplay-always trying to keep me in the pot).

Second, why he's not betting turn now? I'm still calling 3b on the flop with a lot of PP, hands like A3? I'll tell you why, because this is his "character kicking in again". Why not value bet and put pressure on my PP on the turn that hits his percieve bluffs (also he's 3bet bluffs on the flop should include a 3x hands where he blocks full house, and to be able to bluff with them and get me out of PP, he should be betting also Qx here, cos if his betting ranges is Kx that 3bet flops (and also a lot of Kx hands will only call c/r) we can bluff catch him more easily.
He's not thinking about that, he basically get's back to his "old self" and goes for coution and pot control.

On the river he will percieve me that I will do a lot of overbetting with Kx (which I can do), but he would fold Qx easy, because he will not think that I would go into overbet bluff with SD hands like 66, but If i make really small bet(like 1/10) he can percieve I want to go to cheap SD with my PP, and he has done excatly what I expected on every street, and on the River I can shove without problems and he will fold, but I want that this Guy calls (that's why I used so small re-reaise size), that's why I wrote "nothing he can do"- because he has done something out of character on the flop, going back into passiveness on the turn and then going for "thin value" on river against me, and then I'm using so small re-raise size just that he feels obligated to call (after all the lines that he has played, and after his hand is basically "face up", and everybody at the table knows he has qx, I just knew he can't fold it to me at this size after all that happened. This is the maximum value you can get from a Guy like this.

Tuki and Fred thanks! I appreciate your comments, and I hope I see you on the stream, tommorow after 22:00 on my twitch channel. I'm streaming also in Friday with one of the best Midstakes players on PokerStars("AnarKKi", winning 7bb/100 on big sample). Both streams I will make giveaway (15% of my winnings to 3 best questions/comments), so please be active, ask anything and come and join the streams.

I plan to do a lot of interesting stuff, so give your ideas, comment and your feedback. Also just to be clear, I'm not saying I play everything perfectly or anything similar to that, I'm doing also a lot of mistakes (and I did and I will show you the hands where I made wrong plays), but I'm trying to be aware of it, and learn through it and get better. I will always try to give you my exact thought proccess and facts and informations that lead me to a play I made.

But if you just own a guy on every street, especially a Nit, why not enjoy in it

As side note I have not really played holdem cash so sorry for potential "simplistic questions". Could villain not just call flop x-r with QJs? He has fair amount of equity versus your non Kx+ hands and can use position imo better with higher SPR. I would think flop check would be also totally fine but I suppose he is range betting more or less using that sizing. Though I suppose we are not folding anything better for single small cbet.

When villain 3bets flop I suppose his range is something around 33, K3s, KJ+ for value? 33 would make most sense to continue betting unblocking Kx but if he wants to balance turn checks I suppose KQ is best one having board locked down.

Ghaleon, he should be mostly calling QJs (for the reasons you explained), but he can mix occasional 3bet of the flop. I don't like check on the flop, I would bet range here.
I would say that 3bet flop range is something like: KJ+,33, hand like 3x (Q3s J3s, where he also block full houses and good trips), and hand like blockers to Kx(QJ,J10). Also I agree with you, the hand that has most sense to check behind is KQ.

I am thinking of the IP 3-bet being a good play or not?

I perceive this situation after preflop being like this : Huge amount of trash combos on both ranges , yet the Trips being the few Nut combinations which however rarely get a ton of value (which again goes both sides in nearly every line vs. competent players) pocket pairs
being the combinations drawing to the Boats which cooler the Trips and therefore hold relatively high implied odds and therefore they kind of like to xR and not just always call (likely protection primary reason , yet making Boats other reason to make it solid enough EQ to raise flop in theory) .

IP small bet with range or close to it forces then OOP to defend extremely wide . As there is so much trash in IP c-bet the reasonable counter is to xR a lot small as a continuation strategy on top of calling a lot , this forces IP to defend extremely wide . (accordingly to GTO wizard IP cbet 33 , OOP xR 50% IP defense threshold is A8o).

Thinking of the before mentioned and looking at the sim , there is only a very tiny amount of trips 3-betting in IP range + couple random hands . When blocking the Trips , narrowing OOP to be able to pretty much fold turn with his weaker catchers (low PPs) + having to defend vs . the xR with a super wide range in first place I think we can say that IP is out of line with the flop 3-bet .

With these things on mind on the river you bet a size which IP should not raise with queen and you forced a mistake there which is great .

Tuki 3b flop is generally ok play, also the hand that he choose is ok (PIO 3bets flop - 10%-47 combos ), Pio mostly 3bets the hands like blockers to our most freq. c/r of Kx (j10s,J0s,910s,QJs,Q10s, and also Q10o, J10o), his most freq. 3b of Kx are AK(50%), ad KQ(50%),also over 60% of 33.

On the River against 1/10 he should be raising QJ(100%), Q10 is pure call.

I have one interesting hand for you Guys, played yesterday. 620bb pot...

We played 5 hours HU, he has bad checking range in every spot, by the dynamics of the game - I thought if he's gonna slowplay it's gonna be the flop, he had never checked TP+ on the turn (he's 2 barelling 3bet pots 80%+), and his folding river massively (fold on flop and turn is 20%,25%). I just had to shove on the river.

Today, after 22:00h join in: https://www.twitch.tv/martaimrko
Be free to comment, ask questions, 3 best will be rewarded if we have winning session.

Thanks and see you!

I suppose bluff combo wise our hand is not ideal as it also block villain folding range? Though are we going to pot hand like K♥:9♥: on turn some portion of time?

Our hand is definitely not ideal, I would prefer hand like A5h or A3h, or K9c, even K9h, but we had this, and for the reasons I explained I just had to shove it.

Btw, ghaleon thanks for being on the stream with us, you are also the winner of the giveaway, 50$ is yours, contact me on Discord channel, and I will send you the money.

Tommorow, same time, 22:00h, we have one of the best Midstakes player on Stars in our company, after that we are going into PIO, it's gonna be fun.

If you haven't already done so, please consider putting your stream info in this thread:
https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=488375

Another good idea is to put a link to your blog, and another to your stream in your forum sig.
To get the URL to show, click the options button, and clear the "deactivate html" checkbox

Cheers,
