Lately I have been strugling with my game but I kept learning and playing. Played 1 table for a while wich was really good to pick up notes on villain and think about my possible action and the ranges that go with that. Also it's very hard to accept your play is wrong in a super high variance game.
But I have been plugging some leaks and it starts showing in results. Afther dropping 17Bi on NL5 we came back with some wins (+9BI).

Most important leak plugging:

:spade: Because the equities run so close I need to overbet more (this was not in my arsenal)
:spade: Blockers are super important to have when bluffing so bluff with blockers
:spade: After implementing the previous point I dropped 17BI so we do not always bluff with blockers but also use them to determine the range of villain and sometimes call down (lighter) in stead of folding.
 Work hard on post flop play

So last 2 weeks I started on writing a strategy guide for short deck (not to publish) because I am a person who learns best by reading and writing.
This month has started extreme well. I obv run hotter than the sun but I'm also playing well. I'm mostly spot on what villain has and have adjusted my bet sizing accordingly.

Hopelfully august will keep being kind to me _cool:

I will see if I can post some stuff tonight :)

Pokerwise it's been going very swingy. I am now on the mental step. I know the theorie (or enough to beat it) but for some reason I can not always apply in game. For the next sessions I will prepare more properly (I made a plan with steps to do before starting session). And I will also start meditation (this is very hard for me because I'm more the scientist type and meditation is something I associate with flower power, drugs, people with no will to work,... ) But here I am willing to work on myself

Short update:

I've been playing a lot (+10k hands this month), studying a lot (at least an hour every day reviewing, reading or watching vids) not showing in BR but thats the nature of the game and i have accepted (Thank you "The Poker Mindset"). Another good thing is that Pokerstars reviewed the points for chests in Belgium and we go from 7740 points to 980 points for a bronze chest _o:
So my next investement from RB will be the mental game of poker 1 and 2.

Also started to meditate on a daily basis. It's a challenge on the 6+ discord that got me going.

In H2N only watching EV line is also helping me a lot to keep comfort in my game. If I don't forget it I will post some graphics and pictures this evening!

So just a shoutout to the writers of "the mental game of poker". It really reads like it's about me and I have no doubt these mental issues are now my biggest issues.

August:

Start of september is going good

September update,

Things are going steady. Playing less hours but thinking more. Atm I'm investing all my time in the mental aspect. This might be the biggest leak for me to go on and beat micro stakes. Also trying to implement changes in my 'normal' life. Two examples are meditation and cold showers (chack out Wim Hof methode). Both are having a positive impact in life and on the tables.

@Mizzzzz Thx for the support!!! I hope to see more readers here. Pbb will go up when I play high stakes :f_cool:

I have been very surprised (and pleased) to see Vorpal in here and I`d be happy to discuss some preflop-stuff and hands, if you like...
also I am thinking about an english blog for my BR-challenge, while my german blog will see no other SD-players.

Yes it's very hard to get something going on the non english forum. Sepcially for games that are not NL Holdem :)

For the next year I plan to play some tourneys too and I am thinking about something like "Jennifears PoF-Charts for 6+",
if you are interested, we could talk a bit about how to manage this.
