GG Poker - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 102.8 BB
SB: 163.48 BB
Hero (BB): 143.68 BB
UTG: 207.48 BB
MP: 289.56 BB
CO: 193.92 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has T♥ Q♥

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2.52 BB, fold, Hero calls 1.52 BB

Flop: (5.44 BB, 2 players) 4♦ 3♠ Q♠
Hero checks, BTN bets 4.08 BB, Hero calls 4.08 BB

Turn: (13.6 BB, 2 players) J♣
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (13.6 BB, 2 players) 8♣
Hero bets 10.64 BB, BTN raises to 40 BB, Hero ? ?

The villain is some random tag.

I have some reasons behind the river donk.

Thoughts?

Seems like T♠:9♠: . Not double barreling drawing type of hands is a trade mark for the most tags. OTR i am gonna check call rather than bet. As played i am folding without reads

pre flop- 3 bet-
flop you can do either or check or bet, I prefer to bet, 33%-55%. but you can check.
Turn- if you cbet- double barrel for either 75% pot or overbet with 2 draws out there. If you checked flop- bet 33%-55% and be ready to fire off on river with a blank.

River- if villain did fold to a bigger bet on turn (overbet /754% pot sizing) i am check calling. As for betting 33%-55% i am probably doing the same thing check calling with str8 completing.

Be safe!!

BTN shows 3♦ 6♦ (One Pair, Threes)
(Pre 36%, Flop 26%, Turn 11%)
Hero shows T♥ Q♥ (One Pair, Queens)
(Pre 64%, Flop 74%, Turn 89%)
Hero wins 89.12 BB
During the hand, I was staring at the name and I started to recollect that this is the villain who likes to bomb turn on BTN vs SB/BB on this type of board textures. So, I start to wonder what does he not bomb on this turn that he raises big on river? What is it? What, what, what? Because I actually have a pretty good bluff catcher here if you know what I mean.

Pre-flop you could 3bet, but calling with QTs that has decent playabillity isn't to bad I think.
Playing a big pot out of position isn't great ether and we don't need to change QTs pre-flop in a bluff.
Flop play seems pretty standard. I don't think we can value raise and we keep all weaker hands in the hand.

I don't mind to make a value bet on the river with top pair.
I expect you have most of the time the best hand after villains check on the turn.
You block T9 as well. That makes it less likely villain has a straight.
Around half pot seems big enough.

Now I need to have really good reads to call a big raise. It's tough to call with only a 1 pair hand.
Even makes villains big raise not to much sense I think.

Cheers,
