JT - fold river?

Not loving spot but I would call:
- you dont block any flushdraw
-you block top two so its more likely opponent has 9x/8x and turn it into bluff.
-both flushdraws are busted.

x/r bigger on flop for value and protection because why not.

bet bigger on turn for value and protection because why not.

River is super ugly, he can easily peel a Q on the flop.

As played i would probably also fold river often. I see why call also makes sense like emiyakiritsugu explained.
Its probably a spot where you have to call sometimes. But i prefer fold here as played.

Does block betting make any sense on river? bet small on river and fold on jam ?

I prefer more sizing check-raise here and bet on turn too.
On river block bet is no sense for me because flush draws fold (more often chance to try bet bluff on this spot after check on river than raise after bet) with worse hands only get call from 98, one pair should fold so I don't block bet on the river.

I would think this is a good spot to blockbet.

HU ranges are normally wider, as for river I would probably be folding with a 4 card str8 out there, villain sizing kind of looks like wants a call.

flop is okay, i think maybe you can size up a little but, don't think you are making to big of a mistake with c/r sizing.

turn- I would like to see what a solver says, I be interested to see with all the draws out there, if it uses a bigger sizing overbet 125%-150%.
me personally i may be checking this and doing a check call when all FD brick on river, I think bloating the pot could become an issue on river, which does happen when the 8 comes, it shrinks your relative hand strength down quite a bit.

Hm having J10 it's not that great to block here, I would block 55 with 1/4 unblocking TP and MP, the BN has a lot more straight here that we are gonna have(he always has AQ and KQ that cb and call c/r flop and call bet on the turn, we always 3bet KQ and AQ in hu, he also has a lot of Qxdd,and Q9o), so no, on the river I would always check with J10, and based on player we are against probably fold it...

The sizing I could've gone for 3,5-4x OTF and overbetting turn seems pretty good to me too.
The river is the trickiest. But now I have a better idea why I'd fold or call in this spot with the insights you've provided.
