Loaded elephant, when I try to open it. It tells me to form a data base. I press ok and it tells me the conection to the server is lost please! any idears would be gratefully received Cheers

Sounds as if postgreSQL is not installed orrectly on your system.
Try to download the newest version of postgres from here:
http://www.enterprisedb.com/products/pgdownload.do#windows
Make sure you start the installationfile with rightclick => run as admin. (Same should apply for the elpehant btw).
While installting postgre, type in and remember your name/password!
You need it next time you start the elephant to create a database!
