MP is high vpip recreational opening way too wide. BU is also fairly active and doing lot of calling and too wide of these cold calls to 3bet. Though didnt have read BU would cold call vs 3bet ton of hands. SB seemed solid reggy type.

So I decided to 3bet in position trying to iso MP. Get BU to cold call and when SB cold 4bets close to 200bb effectives I think we are looking into very AA heavy range. So when it came to me I really didnt like this spot. I guess we just need to pile it in after already 10bb invested. E.g. if I were MP opening facing 3bet and cold 4bet I would definitely not mind folding some of these weakest AA. Especially 200bb deep.

Anyway I quickly checked this in trainer with 200bb and it would shove. But SB was still supposed to have non AA hand 30% of time which is very unlikely. Big issue is that BU can be favourite with some random stuff if he gets it in.

A♦:A♠:6♣:3♣: makes sense to call pre. There is the bias in terms of ranking quality of hands too much depending on their rank. You see, even in the PPT top-tier ranking system, :Ax::Ax::6x::3x: singlesuited combos are spread down to a top16% range to be be fully covered, in theory we are supposed to have a total call freq. of sth. around 5% though. Low and triple suits are very close to rainbow in terms of component quality.

I agree that folding preflop against the 4bet is the best play. It's a nice exploit in general to fold against unbalanced (too value-heavy) ranges. The 2 main leaks on my tables are: Underbluffing (we fold more) and calling too much (we bluff less). So a light well balanced 4bet range (by a reg) is something you don't see at those stakes, and a bad overcall (by weak players) with money already invested is something you see very often. Classic.

Being deep I would also just call pre. Without suited Ace there aren't many flops that you are happy to get it in.

If 4bettor has Aces, you have the worst equity 3way. If it goes 3way, it doesn't really matter whether you call or 5bet, as SPR is about 1 with the call. As almost all Aces are ahead of you, I don't think that 10bb invested justifies a shove.

Fold is the answer, and then 4bettor shows AKKx. :D

Absolutely. Usually they (abc-regulars) should not have AKKx on PLO100 though.^^ It's always AAxx unless they are solid and have a read on you (so they know you 3bet >5%). I remember the occasional AKKx stack-off when I played on PLO20 but since PLO50 nobody's doing that.

Getting it in anyways is no big deal we. The BTN player usually will have his fair share of ~35% equity but not more and even less if he is going broke with Ace or pair which is sometimes the case then it drops back to flipping for 3way. With a 10% capped he has about 35% and it goes up by 1-2% when reaching 30% range, remains like that and then drops slightly when he is insane like calling 70% or more. So the BTN will have that equity no matter what since SB always has AAxx. We don't have to worry if we get it in with 20%-25% equity with AAxx occasionally, it's evened out by those occasions where we split with the other AAxx.

Vs SB we gotta adjust quickly in case he has a non-AAxx 4bet range, but most people have just way too much AAxx when making a 3bet/4bet And if he adds some of the AKK or hands that are not perceived to be there our hand-vs-range-equity rockets to 40% like in an instant. We also receive more or less BE dynamics against a balanced range wider than 3% when all AAxx's are included (that's always the case cause nobody does mixed range preflop studies). This means there are very many AAxx combos almost nobody is balancing properly within that AAxx subrange like you'd have to do when being selective with 4bets. Ie. comparably, QJT9-7654ds would be just a tiny fraction of most regs range (200 combos that's less than 0.01% of full range compared to 2.5% AAxx).

Finally with AA63ss when we also have a suit it adds up about 2% equity gap against a total 7k AAxx range with ~1k rainbow AAxx combos in it, does not sound much but it's quite helpful. From my experience, regs when having solid 3bet ranges they still fail to adjust frequencies in a way that does not dimish balancing, like 4bets strats AAxx-only or when loosening up to premium-KK & AQQ having no adequate portion of non-pair hands.
