There are made straights out there, as well as sets.
You beat all the JJ+ pocket pairs. I've seen AA and KK played just like opponent does here.

This might be an appropriate time for a blocking bet — where you bet 1/4 to 1/3 pot to get opponent to call with a worse made hand.
so bet/call w/ something small, like 10BB, and you're happy to call a 3x raise to 30BB. By betting so large, though opponent has to put so much more in that it becomes to expensive to call.

There is an old saying in poker: "Never go broke in an unraised pot". Unraised as in unraised pre-flop. I think that applies to this hand.

Didn't think at that at all. How much is a small bet? Like, really small to almost induce a bluff. Something like 12bb or just normalish bet like 16bb. I feel like normalish against most raises, I still want to fold. So then I almost need to make it really small. But the blockbet is currently totally not at all in my arsenal. So I have no feeling for it.

For a blocker bet I use 1/4 to 1/3 of the pot. Others have different sizings I presume.
There is also an idea among a lot of players that it is a good play to bet a single BB OOP on the river. This could be an inducement to opponent to bet larger, in which case it is a trap. It could also be a bluff — in Doyle Brunson's book he calls it a "post-oak bluff". A post oak is apparently a worthless tree in Texas.

So in your opponent's seat, let's say you bet 1BB. Are you trapping with QJo (the stone-cold nuts in this hand) or are you bluffing?
This same idea works for 1/10, 1/4 or 1/3 of the pot, but the bigger you go, the more expensive it is to call the raise.

There are a lot of low-stakes players that can shove a stack as a bluff. "It's only 10 bucks". For me though, I like to hang on to my money, so If I'm going to bet/fold the river, I want the bet to be as small as possible to do the job. If I'm going to bet/call, I want the amount I need to put into the pot to be something I would be too upset about losing.

Nasty river spot, but a thinking villain should never raise bluff on the river against your really big Cbet on the river,
Readless I would most likely fold 2 pair, but it's hard to do.
