ok so I was trusting my gutfeeling to fold here. Obv. I split with AK, loose against 3bet call hands like TT JJ QQ TJs QJs, even KJs I loose. I win against AQ AT. It just seems odd to fold a top straight in a 3bet pot but the river is the most ugly ever and I want to be able to make good folds.

Given that he quite often has AQ or AK, I don't know if I win or split more than 30 %. His call on the turn seemed strong, as you would shove a maybe pairs with draws like AJ, KT, AT but also why not shove TJ here? I am lost here.

villian is unknown, I did prefer to call here and felt right to raise the flop as he can have so many worse but good hands obv.

thank you for your advise.

The only factor is how likely it is just random bullshit. Did you see the one hand they won(or could quick check during the hand?) I think any sign that it could be random play. I can't get rid of the hand. Otherwise, fold seems correct.

And flop, you want to get as much money as possible in the pot. Many possible turns where it gets harder to get value(K/A/9/8/clubs). Perhaps there could even be a reason to raise it even higher. Since I think they basically call their whole range anyway. Except if they have somehow pure bluff.

I once played tackle football in a pasture.
You'd be surprised how often you get covered in random bullshit.

If your gut says fold, you fold. Quite often your gut is smarter than your brain.

My only other comment on this hand is 4Bet pre-flop.
You're in position against BB, so 4Bet at least 3x

I must say, you post some really cool hands.

4bet is a option pre-flop, but than you get in a ugly spot if you face a 5bet jam. Than you are in a tricky spot against a unknown.
Flop seems standard. On the flop you raise enough to play for stacks on the turn. With the current stack dynamic it's still really hard to get away on the turn with broadway on a paired board. Not sure why you didn;t play with a 100bb stack in this hand. Maybe forgot the automatic reload option.

yeah I must say I like to call 3bet pots ip, the players on nl25 are easy to exploit and I want him to bet doiwn AQ AJs against me oop. I dont like to call a shove with AKo, but obv do if I have to. I also sometimes call AA ip against 3bet if he is 3betting much and folds a lot to 4bets and made good results with that.

I prefer to shove to a 4bet especially oop with AKo.

Thanks guys! btw is there an option to convert the hand for this forum to make it look nicer?? We had that in the past but i dont find it.

I see you use PokerTracker. They have a direct option when you copy the hand. So you click on the hand and where you do copy to the clickboard, next to that, there is a button for forums. Pokerstrategy is even mentioned

In Pokertracker, here is the button that copies the hand in a more forum-readable style:

Next to the three buttons is an "options" button that you can use to configure how your hand is displayed.

If you don't have PokerTracker, the next best option is the Pokeit Hand Converter.
The Pokeit Hand Converter even converts hands that are not hold'em or omaha.
