I would say go for stamina, from my personal experience, as people in Northern Europe usually ask that you follow them all day with a backpack as they go on their extreme hikes to mountains and forests...
Yes! Stamina, Regen and Armor. Also, cap your resistances and get a movespeed affix boots.

Stamina is certainly my main athletic focus at the moment, with my 10K race coming up in less than two weeks, and a marathon at the end of August.
In case you're not familiar with the rules of the German Sports Badge, I must successfully pass an event in all four categories (stamina, strength, speed and coordination) and I can only use one for each, so stamina is essentially locked up with Gold already. Of course, I still like to keep going for events that are no longer necessary, both for fun and to compete with my previous PBs.
With poker, the main problem is finding the energy for it in the evening, with so many other things going on at the moment. Also, I simply got out of the habit of playing by now, so it requires a conscious effort. There should be some crypto poker running tomorrow, maybe I will have time for it.

We did play some crypto poker yesterday. Only the Badugi home game, though, since there were no interesting freerolls running at the same time. You think I'm playing NL Hold'em? I think not.
No cash, despite a decent run. TonyW4rriorz converted on his home field advantage this time and took down the win. Well done! 
Regarding the running, even I can be reasonable at times - I decided to skip yesterday's run, which would have focused on speed intervals, because my legs were still aching quite badly from Monday. I did it today instead, and it went surprisingly well. I think I should be able to continue as intended tomorrow.
It's still a pretty tough week, and as it turns out, there will be some overtime on Saturday morning at work too. With that little sleep, it may not be wise to try any late night MTTs yet, but maybe we can start cramming some SNGs in soon.
Yes the body doesnt recover that fast. Im also having difficulties with that sometimes. Such as, im lying down, super tired from training, after 2min 3 people yell: "bring 4 bicycles, we are going to U17 soccer world championships!" Im like: "where am i?" Lol
Is it just me, or is there surprisingly little fanfare about the FIFA World Cup, compared to how these things usually go? Maybe I just don't notice it as much anymore because I don't watch TV or listen to the radio, or maybe people in Germany have been slightly discouraged by the awkward time zone difference, which places many matches at like 3 or 4 AM our time, as well as the poor performance of the team at the last two World Cups.
Either way, I found a way to care about that event after all, by participating in a betting competition - but with no actual bets. You just make predictions on various betting markets and compete with the other players to see who would have won the most if everyone had bet equal amounts. Like a freeroll, it has no entry fee, but a real prize pool. Unfortunately, I can't link you guys to it because the website that hosts it also contains poker content and affiliate links, and can therefore be considered a competitor.
However, I will share my latest picks so you can follow along and see how well I do... and whether you would have done better. Feel free to discuss any of those picks, or make counter-predictions. Note, however, that I haven't really followed professional soccer in ages, so there is a lot of guesswork involved. 
And some of the markets are quite "gambley" anyway (I don't pick them, I only make the predictions). I wouldn't recommend copying them for real bets, is what I'm saying.

I wouldn't bet on real nations, but only clubs; this looks like you believe in those instead of anarchy.

Meh, they're all just sports teams at the end of the day, whether they carry a club logo or their country's crest on their shirt.

FIFA - we don't know what's there, looks pretty fast. Soccer people and fans really like teaming up and fast multi-direction action; I am actually NOT surprised that they did that tournament again with great entertainment for people, as so many people want that type of intervention to their lives. This "team spirit" sometimes contradicts with my solo ambitions in 21+ money games, but can be easily brought to harmony by playing with these kids, supporting their hiking etc.

Most of the discussion here in the Vancouver area centres around "is it worth it?". The costs of staging the events seems to outweigh the benefits to some. The same arguments come up each time there is a major event in the city. Expo '86, the winter Olympics in 2010 and now this.
IMO, holding the cup in North America is a disaster waiting to happen, mostly because the game isn't as popular here as it is in other regions. Consider that they needed to spread it over three countries.

I used to be annoyed by people who normally don't care about soccer but then go all-out at public viewing events during the World Cup and celebrate wildly when things are going well for their country's team. If people are genuine soccer fans, then I never had any problems with it, but those "bandwagoners" used to bother me.
I'm not even sure if I would still see it this way, but like I said, I haven't seen a lot of this hype yet, which would normally set in well before the start of the event already.

The 1994 FIFA World Cup was hosted in the United States. Not sure how that one went economically, but at least there was no need to add any extra host countries. Maybe the economic boom of the 90's in America had something to do with it too.
I already noticed that there are "hydration breaks" during the matches now, which I heard were mostly introduced as a reason to run commercials, less so for actual hydration.
All that said, I did enjoy the Mexico vs South Africa match I watched last evening, even though many people found it lacking. It's probably because I can't even remember the last time I watched a full soccer game, so maybe some of my old appreciation for that sport was simply coming back after all that time.

Yea im not a star team sports player but now they HAVE to use aviation to travel 2,500km in two days between the stadiums as a bus would create a lot of smoke for five weeks.

Just having the World Cup take place in a country as huge as the United States (like it happened in 1994) or Canada alone would require some aviation between games, unless the teams want to do it the John Madden way and go on super long bus trips instead. He was known to have an extreme fear of flying, but he liked his bus anyway, saying that it would allow him to experience more of the country on his voyages.
But as far as I know, the locations of the group stage games are limited to certain geographical clusters within groups to avoid unnecessarily long trips, at least until the knockout stage.
The Canada vs Bosnia picks didn't even do too badly, but I have a bone to pick with this guy, doing an obvious tactical foul right in front of the referee three minutes into stoppage time, while I was betting on no cards after the 80th minute:
Betting on a 0-0 draw as the ideal scenario is not great for an exciting "rail", as I have noticed... you mostly root for nothing to happen all game long.
I will have to get up at around 4:45 AM tomorrow for my overtime shift, after being generally short on sleep this week anyway. It might even allow me to catch the last few moments of USA vs Paraguay, but I doubt I will care about too many things other than espresso during that time.
Poker on Sunday, maybe? Would be nice.

Only one more week until the big 10K race. Kind of crazy to think about it. I should be well-prepared, but there are up to four scheduled runs left - and I certainly won't do any endurance running at the Trollympics on Monday.
Surprisingly, I don't feel all that tired at the moment, despite getting up very early for my overtime shift, but I'm sure that is going to change some time in the evening.

And on home soil as well. Soccer[2] is extremely popular in Canada at the youth level, but the better athletes get drawn into ice hockey.
