Solution to weak gamedev skills - playing on my strengths.
I realized that I am very weak in gamedev but quite strong in sports. So the solution is quite good.
SPORTS
*hiking – hiking with laptops/consoles in backpack to give gamedev workshops
*poker – 1000+ BI BRM, up to 0,10€ BI level free to play with any roll
*running – training forest running 1km to 5km distances, walking between running as recommended
Some nice action for -0,14€ in 30minutes. Gotta keep practicing! Got past last month's buyins, last month was 9,87€ in buyins, this month already 9,9€ in buyins!
This beauty maybe when I get money? Very cheap and super lovely. For hiking - 10 laptops, 2 consoles, wires - workshop covering range - 10km area.
On Gran Canaria island last winter with 20€ on my bank account. Wanted to experience this.
Made some miscalculations analyzing my business, the year 2026 is actually already up +1500€ (gamedev + poker), but the non-existent risk generated in my head was actually good as my sports started to support my gamedev. This is good because sports is more known and gamedev is less known.
Tomorrow night is an interesting soccer match in La Liga, Real Madrid is facing Elche, the victory of Real Madrid could bring +0,03€ but their defeat could cost -0,10€.
Again some nice big mid-day beer, playing Diablo III - Lord of Hatred on Xbox and going to soccer training with bicycles with son 2.
"Worry about extra money" was solved elsewhere in other industries, which helps to keep my workshops worry-free... The idea for tomorrow:
I am thinking being tired has to do with ~recent too high stakes. I will test this theory by only playing normal stakes, let's see how it goes.
Launched paid area education today (gamedev for kids). There were 17 kids in school 1 during 1,5hours. School 2 tomorrow promises to have 6 kids at least during 2 hours.
This is way bigger than year ago, then when i launched paid area, there was in total 16 kids there.

OK brilliant news, already +150€ this month from gamedev workshops. Could grow up to +700€/September; 23 people already in the paid area which is 30€/month*23=690€.
In one school I have to send the bills separately to each parent, so it comes like in 30€ chunks, in other school they take care of payments themselves and send me maximum 300€ (max 10 students), currently 9 is registered there.
Massive emotions and family not used to me being away for 4hours on Wednesday and Thursday; other than that, +150€ is pretty nice at 0,10€ buy-in level.

How does a good poker career look like?
This is what I will do.
Planning online poker sessions:
Monday: 09:00 - 11:00 with break between
Tuesday: 09:00 -11:00 with break between
Friday: 09:00 - 11:00 with break between
This is the plan for next week, will add running trainings somewhere in-between.
Preparing for tomorrow's big competition (2hour session tomorrow morning). I got this advice from coaches, remove 10 BI BRM, go to 1000 BI BRM, take it more lightly. Now I have been 8months on 1000 BI BRM; what is funny, taking it more lightly gets difficult. (~You run out of money etc). So I kind of want to progress from the current stage towards more motivated and serious poker career, a sports career.
Kind of pulled this insane stunt/bet of putting all bankroll 1000€ to gamedev in spring 2025; this has worked out, as I now get paid super high hourly for doing kids gamedev workshops 4 hours/week. But wouldn't be correct to continue at that "risking pace", is a huge relief the 1000 BI BRM for me, as I don't face unknown every single minute with this BRM. So the mistake was actually in taking too high risks and playing too high in sports. But of course we still learn and progress if we play at too high stakes, we get the experience and still learn from our mistakes, is just that the chance of failure is too big or something.
Already 210€ received from gamedev workshops in September, 3,5hours of teaching kids makes it +60€/hour for me at the moment, sending the Year 2026 Average monthly from +187€/month to +189€/month. I almost like can't believe this, is like people on Youtube speak how team of developers worked on game for 3 years and then put it to market and it made like millions of $ in few days. It feels like that at the moment, year 2026 already +1700€, last year 2025 was +1800€ and year before that, 2024 was like -40€ i guess in total with poker, when I launched the solo gamedev business.
2hour morning session plan didn't work out, child stayed home because of flu, I played a scary 30min session next to child for +0,56€. Also one 0,20€ DoN SnG included as bankroll is over 200€ again. I think super good decision to plan and decide to play at 9am; but mid-session got a bit scary because of moving up in stakes and playing next to child. So I will wrap it up at 30min at the moment.
Talked to the backpack sellers, they said there's no way I would be able to do it with 25kg+ backpack (10+ laptop workshops); so I ordered this 100-Litre recommendation:
My main concern was the wheels of the old shopping cart, but the wheels of travel suitcases that have broken so far, were like 30 years old. This new one should have like triple wheels.
Forced back to 0,10€ buy-in level. Year up +37€ in poker. Feels better at lower, the challenges at higher stakes get difficult because of competition.
Tired, wrapping up the month I think, or waiting for better situation. But others seem happy, I guess I did something right, my soup was good finally or I was with kids for 11months in a row. BTW I really suggest MS Home Office, was only 150€. Taking deeper look into software sometimes helps to cancel some insane plans.
I had this new playing/training schedule, but kid got flu and was a bit scary, so I have to cancel those grinds for this week at least, I guess.
No breakthrough lol. But as I said, 1000 bi brm has really been a huge success. Other risks sorting themselves out:
Me: "look, there are these toasters on shelf"
Girlfriend: "do you want to buy one for us?"
Me: "sure"(having 30€ on account and toaster costs 13€)
So now we have this toaster that makes smileys on breads.
September is really crazy anyway, kids going to school suddenly, me at max peak using last hundreds in company before getting more money from first workshops...
Tried to avoid making company bigger, but agent wrote again, can you increase 10-group to 12-kids-group?, people want; so I will still try to use two consoles at once with 10 laptops, even though i planned to leave that out. Bigger bag on wheels costed like 100€, will hopefully arrive soon. Hated to spend it, wanted to give 300€ right away to girlfriend without any costs, but to transport two consoles + extra small vga screen + speakers probably, would be way better to have something there in transport. No time in hours either to walk buy that small vga screen, as kid is at home, tomorrow is early workshop in other school, and Thursday is already the 12-kid big one. Could probably walk buy it on Thursday morning exactly at 10am before it opens as workshop starts 2pm 6km away. I also hide consoles, speakers from girlfriend, could be seen as waste of money but has brought income already. Now soon the gigantic 100€ bag impossible to hide and extra console vga screen to hide lol. But i hope sending money to her soon will sort it out. Crazy crazy september
