[Closed] NL600SH - FD+ISD on turn

Hi,

I'm a fish at these stackes but I guess it's a fold on turn,
especially when you have this read on villain.
If villain expects you to float a lot I'd check behind turn.
On river you can outplay villain in position.

1.) Why did you call on turn?
2.) Why didn't you raise on flop?

Let's see what the judges think.

If I raise on flop my card looks like a draw, which is.
I call the turn, because I thought he had a draw to.

why does it look like a draw if you'd raise?
You don't raise your sets, JT or overpairs in that spot?
I'm checkraising too on turn against floaters but not with draws, but with overpair for example.

I like the call at the flop, you have good equity and you want to be able to float this board with air to represent flushes and straights if they hit.

Once he check/shoves you have to fold since you need 41% equity to call but you only have:

I think he's rarely shoving with total air in this spot because you represented a strong hand which he can't expect you to fold.

I'm still thinking about checking back the turn but i'm not completely sure about that, i'll post as soon as i came to a conclusion.

I thought about it and i think i like a checkbehind at the turn.

If he's a good reg he knows this board hits your preflop-callingrange.
Furthermore he raised UTG, so his range is tighter which means that he has some kind of hand most of the time.
So once he cbets he's most likely betting for value.

By checking the turn he's mostly check/calling or check/raising - in both cases any money of you going in the pot is going in while you're an underdog, so there's no point in betting.

what strong made hands are you calling on this flop to balance your line?
