Ok, so the other day i was playing at pacific poker, 1cent and2 cent blinds and got KK preflop, a guy raised before me to 4cents and i reraised up to 10 cents, everyone folded back to him who calls. The flop comes j 9 4 all of them off suited, the guy bets 10cents and i decide to go all in. He shows his hand and he has pair of fours which means he has tree of a kind. Turn comes K, making me almost surely win. And river comes 4 again making a 4 of a kind for him and making me lose about 2.5 dollars.

Did i play this incorrectly or just got a very very bad beat? ?(

I think he was defending a lot this session or 3betting a lot in general, so I call preflop. I dont like betting the flop cause he could be easy check/raising overpairs. On The turn Im probably always good, so I like to protect my hand against overcards. His check/raise is something that really burned my soul because I couldnt evaluate it. Ive never seen that before on NL50 and because I dont think a reg like him would check an overpair 2 times I was calling to see the river. What do u think and what do u do against a bet on the river?

Its a standard play until he finally decides to check/raise the river . Do u think I can fold? I called cause I already have so much money in the pot and maybe thought he could check/raise QT, but now I dont think he ever has something worse than trips, more often a Fullhouse. So hero fold or standard fold for you?

Im currently practising with this 3bet overcalls with monsters, because I think the Openraiser would like to ship sth like AQ/JJ or even more against it as a defend isnt the strongest 3bet and an overcall is like always a pocketpair or maybe AQ. Also people really are afraid of me 4betting there, which is why i 4bet hands like AQ/JJ there when the 3better isnt to tight, what do u think? I also think postflop it isnt too difficult to play AA/KK postflop in the sandwich position(or how this is called, I like to call it sandwich ).

On the flop I think checking is better than betting, because there arent sooo many draws Im afraid of and I dont get 3bets from hands like QQ that would call the flop, AA would be betting themselves I suppose.

Flop/turn standard. River Im not sure how big my bet should be, I decided to bet big to get $$$ from nutflushdraws and maybe some pockets like TT if hes loose. I dont expect to get a bigger bet from a 7, which also isnt often in his c-range preflop. How big to u bet?

Is there any other hand except 66 that would min raise that flop in a 4-way pot??

I thought folding on any street to be to weak.. but now I think I should've folded anywhere (maybe on the turn)

Hero ???

What to do on that flop?. I don't like bet/fold because I'd be spending too much % of my stack just to fold, neither bet/call since I don't see any worse hand raising or calling here. But by checking OOP I don't think I can go to the SD for free, so what to do? or how to avoid this though situation?
