the call preflop looks OK but folding can't be a big mistake either.. do you have any stats/reads on these guys?

Well I think we can go broke with this hand, but I prefer a c/r on the flop for the following reasons:

- free card isn't a disaster: just give up if its another
- catch some value from cbets, bluffs, ...
- MP2 openraised so you "close" the action if he cbets (so I think you get more value)
- MP3's stacksize is perfect for it (ie. it could get awkward if he coldcalled)

Advice to fold pre may well be sound, but I'm not sure it's necessarily true that we won't hit enough/get paid enough.

Preflop odds to call are 4.5:1. (18.1%). We will hit 7.5:1 of the time (11.7%), so we only need to extract an additional 60 chips post flop to make this a B/E chipEV spot (hope this is right...). Even a very conservative estimate makes this an easy implied odds call, imo. We are only talking about 1/20th of our stack and so I think the call is likely to be +$EV overall - though of course not mandatory.

It would be even more profitable if, when you hit your set, your opponent hasn't also flopped the nut flush

your preflop odds are even better: it´s 5.5 to 1 so i guess i like a call.
on the flop i´m quite unsure but i guess i would prefer a check as well... kinda hate both lines though

you are correct on the +chipEV tim. but i think the $EV difference is subsantial in this spot because you are all similarly stacked and you are the chip leader and not under any pressure. you can find much easier +EV situations without marginal technical breakeven spots with weak hands looking to hit.

what im saying is that you can find much easier spots first in to invest your chips.

i would be more inclined to call it if i was similarlarly stacked to villains.

Frzl already told you, pre is fine.

Flop I think I am going for a C/R, but donk call is OK as well, but I would bet like 750 here to force him to do a bad call on the turn.
