raise turn and/or raise river?

Flop: (6,33 SB) 9♠, J♦, T♠ (3 players)
BB checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, MP3 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (6,17 BB) K♠ (2 players)
MP3 bets, Hero calls.

River: (8,17 BB) 3♠ (2 players)
MP3 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10,17 BB

Dont raise the turn, you cant be sure to be ahead and you dont want a 3bet. I raise the river, he looks fishy so he will call you with the straight and any :spade:, so a raise has much value.


THx Ulek. I Had nearly the same idea but couldn't do it... Maybe I was just a bit on tilt (the loose tilt where I', afroid of to be behind)

agreed. this opponent usually won´t fold a good madehand on the river against a raise.


I'm really glad that we now have at least 3 peopler who rates the hands. Nice way to improve the game :)
