i know that call flop/raise turn is the standard move and i simply screwed it up this time but when i look at the hand i think raise flop could be better because there could be so many ugly turncards which could slow me down. also he could check/call the turn if he has a draw or something.
"could, could, could"...

btw: nice rivercheck... nice hand...

i call the Flop and raise a lot of turns (this Turn: call Turn, call river).

it´s unlikely that he c/c a draw here on the Turn, because he has a lot of Fold Equity against any two overcards.

Against a standard/passive villain on this limit i raise even this turn for a free showdown. There are many draws villain will bet the turn and check/fold the river with, giving us only 1 bet.A raise has the same cost as a calldown and we get 2 bets from villain if were ahead.

hm this hand is really getting into me...
i asked a guy in the german board (because i saw a similar hand in one of his videos) and he said that he would have played the hand the same way.

quote:
"in this special situation i raise the flop, too. there are way too many cards i don´t want to see and i can´t raise the turn with. also i´m not going to raise with kings for a free showdown for sure. its supposed to be a value raise. according to my experiences passive opponents won´t give you a free showdown when they hit something because those opponents won´t check/raise most of the time. they just donk all the time. so i think you played the hand fairly well."

now i don´t relly know what to do... 2 very good player (10/20+ winning players tell me totally different things :))

//edit:
i don´t know which limits arsch is playing in but i think he is a very good player too. so we have 2 totally different opinions and 1 that differs a little bit from uleks a lot from "sascha26"´s

Well, none of the lines is really bad, they are all very close in terms of EV. If you have seen this guy donking all the way with made hands then you should make a note about this and play it like sascha advises. I just think you are ahead often and get so many calls from worse hands that the turnraise has much value. And if he is one of those guys who donks every street with any made hand then you even have an easy call if he doesnt give you the free showdown.
