Let's just hope that you never hit one of those infinite Poker losing streaks. It may only be 30% or so chance that a skilled player will hit one - on each individual hand - but they can go on to infinity.

I play about 20 tables and in 55 days have made 203 USD with winrate of 1.8 BB at 0.10/0.20, so just think what a piece of cake it is...

Totally agree. I started playing 2c/4c as I found I was losing too quick, then it stabilised and I started winning. I think you can lose big in the beginning especially at that $5 buy in stake of 10c/20c. I then found I was crushing the 4c but when I moved up to 10c I would lose. I seemed to tilt on that level after building it up and then some nutter cracks your Kings with 8 5 offsuit. So what I did was deposit some money and moved up to .10/.20
I beat that level so now playing .25/.50

Also you could try moving up with 100 big bets

I easily beat 0.02, beat 0.05 but with twice smaller winrate, beat 0.10 and was asking myself the question: "why is FL so beatable and when are those much dreaded downswings of 200 BBs they are always speaking about" And when I hit 0.25 I received those 200 BBs for the first time in my FL career. So now I'm again at 0.10 rebuilding my roll, and it's not a very tough job, the key to ur success is tableselecting and timeselecting -- when Eastern Europeans go to bed

If it were possible to beat roulette due to a betting strategy people would be doing it.

Also Navrark you need a BR of 5 billion to survive even 30 flips so bandying about the 100 number is useless.

What will happen in the next spin is independent of the last, etc. It's 48.6% you will hit your 50/50 bet on each spin on a single zero roulette wheel.

The chances of red occuring 100 times in a row in a single trial is 1,267,650,600,228,229,401,496,703,205,376:1. You have to understand that you are starting a new trial the next time you spin that wheel, i.e. each spin or trial of spins is completely independent of prior ones. After that 100th consecutive spin with a red it is still a 48.6% chance the next will be a red. etc.

To think otherwise is known as the "gamblers fallacy" and you should google that imo.

It's 70% you are not on an infinite downswing after a single hand? Then after 20 hands it's 0.7^20=0.0008 (less than 1000:1) that you are not on a infinite downswing. :f_cry:
