Was there something I should have done differently? Perhaps raised larger on the flop?

My opponenet in this hand played his cards like he was calling on a flush draw and when he reraised me there at the end I thought he was trying to steal it from me by showing some aggression at the end. Obvioulsy I was wrong so is there something I missed that would have helped me make a better decision here?

Thanks for the help!

i would c/f on river, cause it's really possible that he was playing JT, J9 or even J8

5-way I´d just lead out this board and fold to raise, since it is very likely that someone holds better hand
I would likely just c/c flop to keep pot small and you can´t be sure that your top pair is ahead that point
turn bet is fine and I´d also c/f river, since too many hands beat you
(any 6, J, two pairs)
