Thought I would give a quick update to let you know I am still here!
Had no luck at all with job hunting, not even so much as a response so that is not good.
To make matters worse I am playing shit at the moment and on the odd occasion I manage to play well I am getting beaten by morons hitting obscure 5% outers.
Not a happy bunny!

Hello neil,

Sorry to hear that things are not going well for you at the moment, both in the job hunting and poker side.

I am sure that you will succeed as you have the determination to carry it through and hopefully the first break you need is just around the corner.

All the best,
-Steve

Thought I would give an update in case anyone was following this thread.
I have managed to get a sponsership deal with what I suppose would be classed as a rival site.
I started at the end of Feb and so far I have played 575 tournaments in 425 table hours for a profit of just under $3000 with a ROI of 27.
My deal means that I have to play through a site tracked to my sponser so my status here will not improve beyond bronze for the forseeable future but I intend to remain a member of PS and hopefully contribute where possible - subject to my status of course - to the forum.
PS has been invaluable to me in terms of the strategy articles and probably more importantly the forum, in particular the hand postings and replies and I would like to thank everyone who has helped me over the last couple of years.
I dont know how long this will last, the nature of these deals is that they can stop any time if you start losing loads of money, but hopefully that wont happen and the rules in place should limit any losses.
The most important thing is that I am living the dream, playing poker professionally, for a living and that is a massive buzz.

Hi,

I'm glad you're alive. I haven't seen you post anything in a while. But I'm watching NL threads mostly now.. Maybe you could make another thread describing your online career as you did about your live tourney some time back. That was an awesome read.

Anyway, good luck!
