@ hand you should've bet bigger on the flop (20-25) just for value, to build up the pot because you are prolly ahead here 85% of the time. KQ, KJ, KT, K9, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 8, maybe even a 5 since it's nl2, 67 for OESD, all these hands call and you are ahead. just try to give your opponent a range and think if you are ahead.

Against the same opponent as last hand... I think i shouldn't have done what I did, glad that it worked out.

Opinions ?

opening 6x is never a good idea in my opinion. I don't know why your playing that stake with a $50 roll either.

reasons opening 6x is bad:
-your playing your hand face up/ its easy to put you on a strong range
- your killing off potential profit
-your accelerating your losses
-cultivating a fishy image ( can be good, but I doubt it in this case )

-its easy to adjust to said range:

eg: if people expect you to do that with AK & AQ, but never see you do it with AA and KK for example, you will not be taken seriously. also remember there are only 4 combinations of AK in a deck. so its quite obvious to any wise player that its mathematically unlikely you will have a hand if you do that often.

summary: anyone that thinks they are behind will fold. anyone that calls will be ahead of you or drawing with you almost all the time. granted this won't be the case all the time on a 2NL table, as your playing with braindead opponents for the most part, making such habits will only cause you problems in the future!

my suggestion:
keep your raise sizes preflop standard. this becomes less of an issue in reraised multi way pots, but lets not get into that for now.

Trying to keep with BM guidelines and not go mental like i do sometimes

Been quite busy yesterday/today but i'll try to squeeze an hour of poker before hitting the sack.

Played realy bad, was moody and tired. Once i thought i had the nuts and missed the fact that it was really likely that opponent had a flush, ofc he did A realy small amount of good hands too, had AA and AKs but all i got with them was the blinds. But thats how it goes with poker.

Don't have a hand today, maybe i'll sift through my hands tomorrow.
