You think a royal flush is a great thing? What about royal flush vs AAAA when you are all-in in WSOP????

its amazing to think that there are professional poker players out there that go through their entire poker careers without ever seeing that hand.

I hit my first one last night. I was in complete awe, my Mum and Dad in the room were looking at me like I was mad and asked "What are you playing". I just replied "I just hit a Royal Flush..." My Mum didn't seem to understand the rarity, my Dad was suitably impressed

Had QhTh on BB, one limper and SB called. Flop came AhxJh, so I noticed right away that I was on teh draw, and decided then i'd call any bet just to see if I hit. However, it was checked around, and the Turn brought me the Kh, to which I just stared at. I nearly timed out because of it :P Checked around again and then the river brought a 5 (Which I later found out gave my opponent a set), I put down a 3/4pot bet and it was flatcalled, too bad I didn't get much out of it. But it was worth it just for seeing it

I hit a royal flush a few years ago. Luckily I manage to tripple up through it.

Unluckily it was on facebook poker.

The thing about a royal flush is you rarely get paid off. Unless they have a full house/quads, the best your looking up against is a 9 high flush.

Strangely I've hit 2 royal flush's just playing with my friends, although online, proabbly played 20,000 hands over the time, I've never hit one. Crazy like that.
