Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$5/$10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3:s, 6:h.
CO raises, BU calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 4:d, 8:d, 3:h (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks, BU checks.

Turn: (4 BB) 4:h (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, BU folds, SB folds, Hero calls.

River: (8 BB) 7:c (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10 BB.

CO is the only semi-decent player with stats 36/26/1,4/50!
My impression of him was that he is pretty straightforward with his made hands but can be tricky in some situations.

so.... I very rarely see him on overpair,8x,or better since I think he bets these directly.Sure he may c/r but the fact that table was bad and passive I think not too often.
His turn raise seem very illogical to me considering his range and since everyone folded I think my equity is quite well against his possible hands (FDs, AK,AQ,...)

I would also call down this and make a note , he just cant represent anything on turn that would make me wanna fold .Also about his turn range ; i would assume he bets any pair on flop , but i would also assume he is betting flush draw on flop directly so i guess its like a strange played monster / air or maybe a free showdown raise.

But i have a question about your preflop play.
Do you really think 36o is a winner in that spot for you? Or at least that u loose less by calling then by folding it?

For 1:7 and having 3,5 bad players in the game I fold very little. 36o has some connectivity so it should be enough for me on 5/T where rake is already lower.

Hi Dawnfall26,

sorry for my late reply.

I like the calldown as well. He rarely has something here and often tries to push you off a better hand or he thinks you are bluffing and he is good with A-high to win the hand on the turn or take a free showdown on the river.

I don't know where you play but the rake at 5/10$ Partypoker is still pretty high so I would fold hands like these even for 7:1 but if you like to play these hands and if you are successful with it why not. :)

Ahh ok Pokerstars has a lower rake indeed. I haven't played a while (surprise surprise ;)) are there really more bad players than at Partypoker?

Hi!

Dont know about partypoker 5/t+ games but Im quite certain that with table selection you can find better tables at stars basically due to the number of them.

PS:sry for misclick:) it was so close to reply button:D
