So, I've been trying out the NL side of holdem the last couple of days (and doing quite well so far) and was hoping I could get some thoughts on a few hands:

Was it correct to go all-in on the flop with two overcards here against one opponent? My stack was less than the pot...

Was the flop all-in correct, or should I have considered a smaller bet or even a slowplay on this non-scary board? Could I have extracted more value from this hand? I'm strictly following the guide from the beginner section, but I can't help but feel that I could have gotten more for a flopped set.

This hand came along immediately (the very next hand) after I had more than doubled up (to $5.10 at a NL10 table.) I hadn't yet hit sit out to leave the table and was dealt KK. I obviously couldn't fold it, but didn't want to risk a bad beat since I was obviously no longer short stacked...so I doubled the recommended raise and bought the blinds. Do you think that was reasonable under the circumstances, or was I being too scared and conservative with Pocket Ks? Of course I may not have been called with a $0.40 raise either, but you never know. Again, in the interest of strictly following the guide, I planned on leaving the table since I had much more than $2.50 in front of me, but the hand was dealt before I had a chance to sit out...
