A5s and A4s are OK to push in that situation. A2s and A3s are not. And A6s or A7s are also not a push in that situation, just A8s+. It has to do something with being connected and strong enough kicker if it's not connected... can't really do the math, maybe some SNG coach can explain this better.
A6, A7, A8, A9 can't make a straight. In the long term that will change something.
EDIT : Oh wow just realized what they told you to do.
Only A6 and A7 you can't push with...This doesn't sound very logical to since they should tell you to play A2s and A3s also if what I said was true.
