Against late position limp shoves AJs is close. Usually 88+, AQ+ is an easy call vs <1/2 stack imo. I've seen people do this with A9, and even A2s. Ofc, you'll run into AA sometimes but overall you are ahead of their range.

Finally some time to play today :) Just finished a session of 2.5k hands and somewhere around 3BI profit. Already cleared 30/50$ of my bonus so that's not bad. Especially cause I had a really bad session last night, gave 4BI away to all kinds of donks

Session reviews, hands and graphs are going to have to wait....don't have HEM installed here and I wont be able to get to my computer in probably a week or so...we'll see how it goes.

See you at NL200 soon then, I wouldn't mind

I saw you at the same table as me once. You raised UTG and thought about making a move in BU but I had trash :f_biggrin:. I'm almost out of NL10. I ran very hot lately. You can check out the graph in my blog.

Nice, good luck at NL25! I should've been close to taking shots at nl25 by now but variance is slowing me down a bit :f_cool: I think I'm around 17BI under EV since I started this blog. Guess I have to suck it upand grind it out _cool:

Saw you too at one table, don't know if it was the same one Well, at least i think it was you, one nick sounded familiar and i just thought it was you....guess I was right :)

3k hands session just finished....down like 7BI. I so wanna see my EV for the session. ;D Lost 2 2outers Ai on the turn, all flips i could've lost and 2-3 preflop all ins like AK<AJ, AA<TT and so on....

Oh well, lets call this week a "Tilt management training week" And tbh, I don't think I'm doing bad tilt wise...Managing to keep my head clear and just continue playing with spewing reduced to minimum (well, minimum for a player like mw that still has quite a lot of leaks probably)

At least rakeback is gonna be good

Stop whining and keep grinding!!!!!!

Instaquit my session after 120 hands....dropped 3BI in like 2 minutes and need to vent now....gonna go out for a beer, God I'm pissed now...

Stop whining, keep grinding!!!! Kind of thinking about tatooing that on my forehead

Now comes that time when I start doubting myself and if I am capable of even beating the micros....I know the time cause then I cry a little inside whenever someone talks about poker and their hands

And since I'm away from my computer I can't even do some session reviewing normally...must figure something out. Maybe a couple of us can do a session review/some strategy talk together. Have to see if that rush skype group is founded....

And now it started pouring outside....TILT TILT TILT TILT!!!!!! fml....

Stop whining, keep grinding!!!!!

Meh....3k hands and 5BI down.....7 preflop flips and won none, got called down and f'd in the ass by the river 4 times, why do they always catch :( Oh yeah, set over set also 2 times today :(

Gonna give it another go tomorrow or the day after but probably going to drop down to NL5 to regain some confidence...i feel really shitty now. Don't know...my br is fine but my poker mindset is crushed atm. Will play another session or two on NL10 and decide afterwards.

Tomorrow is live poker day, going to a casino with a couple of friends to play a 10$ satelite, hopefully that will go fine :)

over and out

Hi there

Finally I'm back home...it took a while but at least I have a new bathroom

So, took the time off to play just a bit every now and then when i had a chance to do so and used most of the time just to do random other stuff and some uni work :)

But have been thinking and reviewing some of the hands so it's not that I didn't use that time to not improve at all. So far I'm running like shit but the good thing is I'm not really that affected by it. At least I have some funny/sick hands to talk about with a couple friends that are playing too :) How does that phrase go that says something like "in anything bad there is something good"? Can't remember it

This is my rush so far...

Actually I'm feeling quite ok about my play at NL10 so far, only thing that's bothering me so far is that big drop around 19k hands mark...need to quit when i drop so much in a short period of time, even if I think it's not affecting me it pretty sure does affect me in a way.

Time for some poker now :) Finally :f_cool:

Hey everyone,

time for an update....played around 15k hands since my last update, and it's going good so far, bankroll is steadily growing...hoping to get enough to take stabs at nl25 somewhere at the end of the month.

Fingers crossed it all goes well :)

Will post more tomorrow or the day after, 3am at the moment here and I'm sleeping in front of my computer so think it's time for bed :)

cheers

So, hit the 50k hands mark since i started playing rush exclusively so let's make an update :)

So far I'm quite satisfied, started off running very very bad and having a break even start in those 2 weeks in august that I played. But just continued to play as much as I can to grind through it. I know it's not that much volume but well, we can't all play 8h a day :)

Looking at the graph I'm thinking it doesn't look that bad after all, had some tilting issues but I'm happy about my mindset progress poker wise :)

September was a different story, played very little due to not being home and not having internet most of the time so my volume was really disappointing. It was just a bad month combined with poor play, lack of concentration and determination and a couple of really run bad sessions...

But I used that month wisely anyway. Worked a lot on my game, reviewed some sessions, read a lot of articles and stuff, and watched several videos I got my hands on. So looking back, it turned out to be a good month even though my play and volume sucked seriously :)

October is running and it's already volume wise better than last months. Still watching videos and trying to improve and finally started running good myself. Winning flips on occasion and playing a solid game. Toned down my aggression a bit postflop which is why my redline started dropping. It's something I'm not really satisfied but will continue to work on that. Had a good redline during the first 20k hands and need to get back to that breakeven nonsd winnings while managing to keep my showdown winnings where they are now.

That's the key to success right? My BR is going up, let's see if I can get back to NL25 before November, that would be mission accomplished :)

All in one graph for the end :)

Hey, nobody said poker is easy

Meh.....such a shitty day. Everyone around me is in such a shitty mood and it started reflecting me...and I hate when that happens. Plus, poker is going like shit too. Maybe the worst session I played so far. Tilted like crazy in the end and spewed 2.5 stacks in 2 hands. Should've stopped a bit earlier I guess. But well, it happens. Let's try not to make a habit out of it.
