3 handed at $5.50 TPTK is enough but you should bet more 2/3 at least incase you are called.

This will protect your made hand from draws like a diamond flush in this case for example.

So for me it is bet/go broke on this flop 3 handed.

I swear to you I have folded here more than twice to have my jaw drop through the floor when the
absolute monkeys turned over things you would expect to find at the $1s. These games are full of
heavy fish with heavy losses and top pair top kicker against 2 of them no matter what they did
check raise or check shove or just plain shove out of nowhere is too good to lay down here.

i know what ur saying 897. it doesnt surprise me to see all kinds of crap turn up here especially cause the board is a bit wet (draws can c/r etc...)

i just prefer the conservative line considering how large our end-game edge is in p/f stage.

i dont think getting it in on this limit is a mistake. but its not a fist-pump spot thats for sure.

First of all preflop it's good to 3bet, even tough you would usually call AK to an early position raise. However, in this case blinds are so tiny that you can easily 3bet for value.

On the flop it's a rather nasty spot. As a default line you obv want to commit as many chips as possible on the flop, but facing two times a c/r is sorta more action than we'd be happy about as well. Given the decent size of the pot and the drawy board I think I'd lean towards getting it in. There might also be some players who c/c their 77 in this spot in BB's perspective, who knows. But if you chose to play it safe that's fine too, kinda depends on how you feel about those guys, your future edge, etc.
