[Closed] 6$: AK postflop play

Bet about 300 on the flop adn defo bet for value on the turn to pot commit yourself on the river. The limper would have checkraised you with a set of 4s. Can't see him limping with AQ or AJ. As played defo call on the river.

I don't mind checking the turn although in this limit I think it is probably better to just bet bet bet.

On $6, TPTK = go broke.

Anssi, do you check the turn because you think MP3 is slowplaying a set?

I checked behind the turn for potcontrol because its seems to be a well ahead / well behind situation, but now i realized that this doesnt make sense because pot is already out of control. Should just shove turn.

You may be way ahead / way behind in this spot, but those situations are generally called such when you know you won't ever get value from worse. This is definitely not one of those spots; there are a TONNE of worse hands that will chip you up if you jam it in on the turn. Turn is an easy shove.

I shove the turn, someone could hold a set of 4s, just bad luck then

Well, I don't think we will get 3 streets of value from AT or Ax anyways. There aren't any draws either. Checking turn looks weaker and might induce a bluff on river. There is small possiblity he has set, he can also have weak ace or random pockets like 77 or 99. All in all I don't think there much difference EV-wise in checking and betting. Of course all would change if we had any info on players (calling station, loose, tight...).

I shove the turn, but checking can't be bad either. I think folding this river as played is good, but you have to call bets on most rivers.

IMO, Readless I would shove turn and get ready to note. what ever they are limp/calling here is worth a note (because what ever it is its a horrible play)
