[Closed] I hate real work... time for some superturbos and fish...

Hi everyone... I thought about writing a blog ages ago, but never got round to it... common I'm sure, but I feel it is time... I am at an interesting stage in my poker career, I feel like it is just beginning... I will get into all of that at some point in the near future.... I guess I'll start with some background, hopefully makes for some interesting reading as nothing is ever straightforward with me... My name is Nick Parkes... I know that comes as a shock and I probably would have come up with something more original but when I registered with PS I did it for the free cash and I did not think I would become so absorbed with everything it has to offer... so hey, guess I am stuck with having to use my real name... but that's ok... Anyway I am South African... for the last 2 1/2 years I was living and working in Ireland... while in Ireland I met a Canadian girl and followed her back to Canada where I am now... I currently live in a small town in Saskatchewan and I really do enjoy it here despite the -40C weather... As far as my poker career goes I pretty much started playing for real money a couple weeks before I joined PS... but I dreamed of becoming a poker pro many many years ago... just always enjoyed the game when I got the chance to play... Now the dream is alive and well and well, I am hoping this blog will chart my journey... I have the ability to yabber on and on so I am going to break this up, and I feel this blog is more for those who can stand reading long posts... Hopefully during this journey some intersting discussions will emerge as I particularly fascinated with the psychological aspect of the game.... I have studied psychology extensively and so it will always fascinate me... but I am going to end this post and start a new one so that it doesn't intimidate people that think it is too long when they first see it...
