I didn't see your comment till after I'd looked at the hand and I was thinking "what! no bet on the river!!!!"

post flop you are probably ahead and have 4 outs for the straight as well and that doesn't change on the turn so I would bet again - a 2/3 bet would make you pot committed, so maybe just 300.

And on the river 200-300 to see if someone calls you.

yea agree with ~300 bet on the turn would feel right... You'll get value from worse and your defending your hand... It's also more likely you'll get a cheaper showdown when some ugly river card hits.

and yea ofcourse bet river.. as played 400-500 feels right


shove turn, over-pair vs unknowns in raised pot = nuts.

the 8 on the turn changes nothing, most will not c/c with top pair on this flop. so you can pretty safely assume they dont have the 8.
