i like to check as well as you did. i would fold the river against him as he hasn't been raising even 1 hand within 135 hands and his AF and WTS is low as well. i give him credit and don't make the herocall. mind that a more passive guy does have a pair way more often than an aggressive guy does as an aggressive guy would have probably checkraised the flop with many pairs. i give on the river as you do only beat a hand like T8 JT or something but that's not enough to call.
