Why did you decide to overshove rather than call?

Did you expect the nit to cold call 15 BBs and possibly set mine (or call hands such as AQ that flip vs you)?

I think you can call the 20 BB shove and fold to a reshove from the nit in this spot.

ya u r prob right. And my range that just calls the shove prob looks stronger (in the nits eyes) then my overshove range.

Agree.

Although if the coldcaller wasn't a nit I'd generally shove it in as well with the tens because on most flops we have to get it in but we're not happy about it.
Of course since the pot is already 60BB this is not too bad anyway, but the EV-difference between getting it in pre and calling the 20BB with the plan of going broke on any flop is about 0 imo, but with a hand like TT we're more likely to make postflop mistakes as on Jhigh+ flops we usually cbet and once we're raised we'll have 40-50BB left to call for a 220BB pot.
