OK I'm seen as a LAG MANIAC by the table at this point (blinds are quite high I'm stealing with 2xBB with any cards >50%equity against any random cards in unopened pots).

Blind levels 150/300 -25ante.
I am in button, co-2nd-chip-leader with 3000 chips, UTG is 3000 chips, SB is 2000 chips, BB is 2000 chips, CO is 5000 chips.

I hold JJ in button. UTG who I know to be super-super-tight raises 2.5xBB (1000 chips). We have the exact same stacks. CO folds.

I reraise all-in here with my pocket jacks, UTG turns over aces. Aces hold ofc.

Don't have any tools to track VP$IP of this player, but I'd imagine it was extremely low. Was this the right move? I hoped to get some fold equity if he was holding 2 overcards, and I put him on something like AK or AQs.

Correct play??

yes, imo. I've seen people sheriff with all kinds of trash. He may be supertight, but supertight people are also able to sheriff with A9, or Kt. If you are really aggrsive, and you catch a hand, you have to play it imo.

Hi chenny8888!

I think it's played well because if you think he has a hand range of TT+, AJ+ you have a 50-50 situation. If you push all-in you have a little bit of fold equity which makes the move +EV. Nice hand!

Good luck at the tables!
