Preflop: Hero is SB with K♥, 9♥

Flop: (7,00 SB) A♠, J♣, 5♥ (2 players)
Hero bets, BU calls.

Turn: (4,50 BB) 9♠ (2 players)
Hero bets, BU calls.

River: (6,50 BB) T♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, BU checks.

Final Pot: 6,50 BB

I bet the turn against gutshots and other hands with which he could have peeled with. On river i give up because all the hands i was ahead of have improved. Well played?

If the turn was a 3 should i give up my hand? Because his call on this board looks really strong.

yeah i think bet/fold on the turn is fine as just gutshots are possible as semibluffs and i think a raise is frequently Ax and you don't neither beat the free sd raises with Jx. on the river i like to check/fold because he can't bet a worse hand than yours and KQ has also improved now.

So even if the turn was blank i should still bet against gutshots?
