What exactly did you expect him to show up with after you pot the river and he jams in 150bb?

Haha, sick beats. :f_biggrin:

@MatejM47: Are you saying you would actually fold the nut flush in the same spot?

+1

There are more flushes you beat than beat you. Easy call IMO

its the 3rd nuts, hard to lay it down when so much invested in that spot, but in the hand what else can he have...true the nuts or air...or K high flush that went nuts...

that is imo a very hard lay down, but still something you have to learn how to do...I am still not in that place that I would have folded I think.

Aww come on..

we beat more flushes than they beat us..true

what flush is gonna ship on the river 175bb deep on 4to flush board after we pot it ?

If villain is total monkeytard then ye, call is fine.. but u cant expect there to be good .. well... like.. too often

edit:^^ for the AA hand

OP.. dont worry abt that, wp.. money will flow to u next time in this kind of spot;)

Sick, sick, sick.

On the AA hand, you only need to be right about 29% of the time to make this call.

If you folding because you're afraid of a two card straight flush here you're seeing monsters in my opinion. At NL10, I think you'll see some spazzy play way more often that a straight flush there.

Yeah I actually felt I was beat here (sixth sense), believe it or not. I didn't expect him shoving with K high flush.
But my opinion here is pretty much like JonikoP said - I never fold this in NL10.

Err .. a King high flush. Or depending on the player any flush. I don't think it going to be +EV to assume he always has a straight flush there, especially on NL10

I think this assumption is just plain wrong. Just because this is NL10 it doesnt mean that 100% of ppl are completly stupid. I dont agree with ppl who say "This is NLxy, i'm not folding xy hand." at all. If you really think like that, on what limit do you plan on starting to fold this hand?

About the hand itself - i think it's a fold, even tho a really tough one, because he wouldnt raise any worse flush for value. I think he never has a bluff here - 99,999% of ppl simply dont call 3 streets just to bluffshove river.

You don't need 100% of them to be stupid to make it a call.
Plus you are assuming that they have put us on the nut flush draw.
If he has the K high flush (which is far more likely than the straight flush) he may think he is shoving for value.
I don't see how you could possibly fold this on NL10 without having the cards face up

On NL10 where people can go crazy with naked Khigh flush probably not. But against a good opponent you can't really expect to be good here. There really isn't a single worse hand he would be shoving there for value.

And a bluff would be pretty suicidal on this board after you bet so big. The bluff would only make sense if you expect your opponent to fold his nut flush which is kinda optimistic since most people will auto call anyway.

You have to be pretty dumb to shove K high flush there for value. I mean wtf do you expect to call you? Just because you beat more flushes it doesn't mean those hands are going to value shove here for no good reason.

It's perhaps been a while since you played NL10 - there are a lot of pretty dumb players there.

But not that dumb. Apart from total maniac no NL10 players just would raise king hi flush here. If you play on site where ppl would shove in this spot every time, pls tell me where u play.
